Boutique Hotel Vapor 156

It is a heritage property, very cutely furnished and well maintained , BUT inconvenient . The staff was helpful. The manager Mr Guia Jorge is the biggest asset they have....he speaks good English , is very helpful and has a prefect disposition to handle tourist demands. However the rooms are very small, very inconvenient to stay. Bathrooms are small, there is no place for 2 big bags and 2 small for a couple sharing a double room. The first floor is very high and there is no Elevator. IT IS MOST UNSUITABLE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS. I request the owners to get a good interior planner and designer to convert the rooms to a better and tourist friendly layout .

First experience in a boutique hotel-amazing- fresh breakfast- people know your name and all staff is there to help and support. This place has great location, car ride from airport price beats others and staff is informed of events to see in town. They know people and make things - I will send all friends and family here- home is Colonial - beautiful

I just got back from this wonderful boutique hotel. From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were treated like family. I suffer from many allergies and was worried that it might be difficult to get a good meal. The chefs prepared more food than I could eat most days. The staff was proactive and took care of my needs and requests before I even had a chance to ask. A well decorated gem in a very convenient location. Thanks to Jorge, Vanessa, Eduardo, Adrian, Lia, Jesney, and the rest of the team. I celebrated my 52nd birthday and the team made me a most wonderful apple pie that they presented to me while singing the birthday song. The atmosphere was so inviting that many guests checked in with each other on a daily basis to see what adventures they had for that day. If you want a visit you won't forget, plan to stay with this team!

We were two couples and stayed here for several days. The famous Nacional Hotel the Maracon and a good restaurant are just 5 walking minutes away. The old town about 20-30 minutes. While the neighboring buildings and the access road are in desolate condition, the Boutique Hotel Vapor 156 was recently renovated inside and out. It is clean, comfortable, cosy. Jorge, the manager, is an exceptionally friendly and accomodating person. Knowledgable, a clever organiser and someone who really cares for his customers. This positive attitude spills over to his helpful team. If we were to visit Havanna again, we would want to stay at this priavte hotel again. It was a fun experience.

This is a fantastic property. From the outset Jorge was attentive and helpful.. The hotel could not be better located. Room was clean and cool.. Hotel is a beautifully restored house.. The breakfast was good and the staff was wonderful.. I have stayed at several places in Havana and would recommend the Boutique Hotel Vapor without any reservations.

Truly a Boutique Hotel. Great location and central to everything. Well furnished with lots of attention to details. Breakfasts were exceptional and included in the price of the room. Jorge and his staff were exceptional hosts in making you feel right at home. My husband and I have 45 years in the hospitality business and would recommend this property to anyone visiting Havana Cuba
