Lovely Sunday Roast. Great roasties and yummy cauli cheese, gravy was lovely and meat tender. Puds were delicious too had the chocolate fudge cake and lemon meringue pie. Great friendly service. Nice treat lunch. Good size portions. Just needed a snooze after.

Had lunch here with a group of friends. There were 11 of us so we ordered in advance. The food was tasty and piping hot. I had the steak and ale pie which had lots of chunky steak in it, would definitely have it again. Our young waitress was a real credit to the place. She was pleasant , efficient and chatty and looked after us all very well.

We attended this hotel to host our large family dinner party last night. From start to finish it was amazing. The staff were very polite, well mannered and considerate. It was a very large party, and all food was bought out very promptly avoiding people’s dinners going cold or eating before other people had received there’s. The food was delicious, I don’t think anyone had anything under perfect to say and would recommend this venue for any other locals or tourists looking for somewhere to stay. Thank you ☺️

My husband and I, plus a large group of dancing friends, some from Truro, Newquay and Perranporth, decided to book a Sunday lunch for us all to get together socially and enjoy a lovely meal. As a Hayle local, I have enjoyed Sunday roasts here and so recommended it to my friends. As there were fourteen of us, I pre booked our orders a week in advance as requested, plus a couple of extra requests such as no gravy and a small portion for one of our group. I also asked for us all to sit together. I was assured that this would be no problem. I duly took in a typed list of our orders and checked our booking. Today, we all arrived at one pm and the tables were laid beautifully, but there was one table for ten and a separate one for the rest, which was disappointing as we were in the large dining room. I was told that there wasn’t room so we went in and started to make the best of it. A minute later, a lovely waiter came over and asked if we would like to move the tables together and helped us do this. We were really grateful to him. Drinks were ordered and , before too long a wait, (it was vey busy) our food came out. Everyone was delighted with the quality of the meat and lovely fresh vegetables and delicious gravy as usual. We spent a very enjoyable couple of hours eating the lovely food and chatting. The chef came out and checked that all was as it should be and everyone clapped him. We had teas and coffees and everyone left, talking about the wonderful meal and deciding that we would definitely organise such a get together again after Christmas. Thank you to the waiting staff and chef. You were so helpful and accommodating.

Dated hotel, which I don't mind it's quite quirky but the hotel isn't clean, hairs on the bathroom floor, bin covered in dirt, hair in the bath. Ran the hot tap and the water was brown! I asked about this and was told yes we know, the tanks are being flushed just keep running it eventually it'll run clear! Breakfast in the morning was OK, coffee came in a pot was cold I ended up with a slice of toast. I definitely won't be staying again

Very friendly, enjoyed staying in their little stable block rooms. Breakfast was excellent. It was part pub but staying guests were looked after very well. Al, of the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
