Hermanus at Home

I’ve been meaning to post this since the Miller family stayed over New Year 2023. Remembering where we were this time last year has finally spurred me to action! This was a late booking for our family of 6 at a very busy time of year. We were so impressed with the hospitality and kindness of our hosts. Hermanus at Home is just what it says - homely and comfortable with a uper helpful and kind hosts. Rooms are neat and comfortable; great pool and BBQ area; shared use of kitchen one evening. We were very well looked after at a very reasonable price. Thank you.

The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the owner made us feel at home immediately. The room we had was beautifully decorated, comfortable and well-equipped. Excellent service, well within reach of what Hermanus has to offer and a relaxing holiday atmosphere. We will definitely go back there! Strongly recommended.

Great hosts, personal service, great value for money, secure parking, lovely pool, braai facilities, rooms excellent, room utilities excellent, wifi great, television channels and Netflix excellent, owners personally on premises to attend to requests, will be back

The stay at this wonderful guest house was amazing. Nice and peaceful. Not to mention breakfast of champions that was served. Just what we needed. We truly felt at home. We will definitely return. A big thank you to Koos and his team for making us feel welcome.

Hermanus AT HOME was such a lovely stay, rooms are clean and neat and owners are very down to earth and sweet people. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious, as well as the variety of coffee options.

A warm South African place to stay. Genuine kindness and service with love and care from Koos, Thora, and Frikkie. The breakfasts were an experience, exactly how you would receive it in a traditional Afrikaans home. Loved every second. I will see you again.

Excellent stay, my favorite was watching the sunrise from my bed. I can’t report much on the extras on the property as we got in late and checked out early. It is a gated home and we stayed in the family room which was very quaint and fit the four of us very well. It had a giant shower in an oversized bathroom and we were thankful for the Netflix service. It was a unique place, as it is their home, but we had plenty of privacy in a secure room. The owners greeted us and bid us fair well and were super hospitable. I would stay again.

Our stay at this facility was nothing less than amazing. We were welcomed with open and warm arms The room was clean, neat and tidy. The beds was comfortable and the food was so nice. The staff made us feel at home.
