Watercolours

Fantastic B&B on the waterfront, in a great location. You can swim outside the property. We stayed in the generous size Queen room with a lovely comfortable bed and good quality bed linen, leading out of french doors onto a patio with table and chairs. Immaculately clean. Breakfast was a delicious continental style breakfast with home made bread and cakes. 3 mins walk to the ferry, Belmont Hills Golf club with 2 good restaurants, 10 mins to the bus stop to get to Hamilton or Dockyard, 10 mins from supermarket and Wok Express takeaway. Easy to get around the Island on public transport. Would highly recommend.

Water Colours is a nice B&B with large rooms and beautiful accommodations. We had a King bed room with a private bath. The bed was very comfortable and soft. But not too soft where it hurt my back. The guest rooms are located downstairs with the owners living quarters being upstairs. All the guest rooms have a great view of the harbor. There is a nice library that doubles as the eating area. You couldn’t ask for a better location. The guest rooms overlook the harbor and have a wonderful view. Water Colours is located in the middle of Bermuda and access to the rest of Bermuda is easy. There are two ferry stops and a bus stop within a short walk from the B&B. The owners are very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable of the area. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

This was our first time staying at Watercolours & it way exceeded our expectations! The rooms were immaculate, the breakfast served on china in a cozy setting, the house warm & inviting & the view fantastic! Best part, besides the accommodations, is the fabulous hospitality of Carole & Joe Holding! They were extremely helpful when I didn’t feel well & went out of their way to get us a dinner delivered. They treat you like family with kindness, hospitality & happiness! Their housekeeper, Annie, also goes above & beyond with her kindness. We will highly recommend this beautiful B&B & look forward to returning!

This was our ninth visit to Bermuda and first to Water Colours. Water Colours is stunning. Beautifully placed right on the harbor. The hosts Carole & Joe Holding are salt of the earth. They truly care that all your accommodations are to your satisfaction. They go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect. We visited two days after hurricane Ernesto landed on Bermuda and our visit was fantastic. From the moment we inquired about Water Colours to the second we departed the communication from Carole & Joe was five star. The English breakfast is just perfect to get your day started. The volume of information that they provide on the island from recommendations for dinner to the island history is spot on. The house is spotless and kept immaculately. We will be back even though Joe is an Arsenal fan!!!

What a gem! Not only are the rooms clean, new and bright, and the place right on the water for fantastic views, but staying at Watercolours is like staying with your parents, so well are you taken care of! Joe and Carole go out of their way for you. Joe lent me pajamas when my luggage got lost and Carole especially arranged Almond milk for me due to my diet. The breakfasts are excellent and Joe and Carole treat you like one of their own.

This was our first B&B ever….and I’m thrilled this was our first pick! Watercolors was simply spectacular! Carole and Joe excel in providing top notch accommodations and a pleasant inviting atmosphere along Hamilton Harbor. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We were totally comfortable every day and enjoyed lounging by the pool and watching the boats sail by - and the sunsets are simply stunning. Overall - we loved Bermuda and the “island feel”. Our stay at watercolours enhanced our love of this paradise. We even heard from another local resident that we were staying at the nicest B&B on the island compared to others. Simply a relaxed, enjoyable experience from beginning to end. Special thanks to Annie who helped ensure our stay was comfortable!
