We are 14 miles or 22 min from airport and 10 minutes from downtown Kona. We are 1.3 miles from the best snorkeling black sand beach (which is known as turtle beach) and 5 min from white sand beach. You can also walk along coast from the gate at our ocean front pool and get in the water a couple min walk where there is black sand. (need tennis or hiking boots as it can get rocky near the end) There are a few other beaches close by and a bay with in a half mile where boats will take you out snorkeling, fishing, tours, and popular Manta Ray swimming at night that you can see at our place at night in Master bedroom window. (we walk there) You can swim, snorkel and picnic there with less crowds. There are many brochures to look at in our place. Plenty to explore on the island! *Please note there is a FULL set of stairs to walk up upon entry.
