This is not a 5star hotel, not even three. For a 5 star in the tourist capital, no-one speaks English at the front desk. The rooms would have been nice in the 1890s, but now tired. Housekeeping is terrible. Your room will not be cleaned unless you put on the cleaning light. One day I was in the room when they cleaned, it took them less than 3 minutes. The bathroom has never been cleaned (I am here for a week) and every day I have to ask for towels. WiFi is frustratingly slow and every day I have to go to reception to get a new password. The gym and pool is useless, for men only open 3 nights a week from 8-11 (normally when you have supper) The coffee shop is nice, but on a good day it will take 20 minutes for them to make you a coffee. The only good thing about this hotel is the maitre de, Abbas. He is fluent in English, fun, enthusiastic and professional. He is way to good for this second class hotel and I am speaking to my hospitality clients in Dubai to get him employed at a true 5 star hotel. I’m back later this year and will definitely avoid this hotel, I suggest you do the same…

we were in this hotel by first of February. the location indeed is the best parameter I can review. the rooms cleanness is ok and breakfast was delicious and the variety of that was reasonable. Totally this hotel can satisfy your different concerns for a normal travel.
