This hotel is all about appearances. They market it like a true luxury resort, but the service and location are anything but luxury. First of all, the location is OUT THERE! Every time we wanted to go to town, we had to pay about 30-40 Eur each way. The room was nice but the check-in process was horrible. They didn't the room type available that I had booked so they lied and said they were going to give us an "upgrade". My husband and I walked into the "upgraded" room and saw a baby crib and welcome note with someone else's name! Needless to say, we were very upset. After speaking with the manager, who tried to downplay the situation, we finally checked in at 5 PM. The manager on duty told us that the general manager would be calling us to make up for our horrible first experience, but of course, no one called us, no one sent up a bottle of wine, and no one made any sort of amends. We mentioned this upon checking out as well and of course, were told "the manager would call us" and you guessed it--no one did! The rooftop restaurant, views and pool areas are nice, but not enough for me to come back to stay here. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Nobu hotel! Amazing restaurant, vibe, service, and location!
