Super 8 by Wyndham Indianapolis South

We were expected to pay a $100 security deposit in cash in addition to the rate, which was not explained when we booked. The first room we were given we couldn't open the door. Staff came up to check the door which they couldn't open either. Then he went to another door 2 doors down, used the same key and said we could use that room instead. I questioned why one key card would open a completely different room, no answer. In the 2nd room, the chair had a cut in the middle of the cushion, the fan in the bathroom squealed very loud, the towel rack and hook on the bathroom door was literally falling out of the wall and the tack ***** was missing where the tile flooring met the carpet and there were actually nails sticking up out of the floor! I went back to the front desk and told him that room is unsafe and we wouldn't be staying in it. He then gave us a 3rd room which seemed to be in better condition. The tv remote wouldn't turn the tv on in that room so i told them we needed new batteries. The front desk staff took the remote and said he would replace the batteries, he never brought it back. After about an hour we went back to the desk to get the remote, we were then given 2 remotes "just in case" the one didn't work. Then the tv turned on and we could change channels but couldn't turn the tv off. The website indicated that breakfast was included, in the morning we were told "no breakfast" by a staff in very broken english. I would NOT recommend staying here.

This Property is the worst I done ever visited, didn't stay nor did I checkin, offering free Breakfast. But Taking $100 Deposit for no breakfast. I can't believe I booked this. But ******* came to the Rescue and Hour later after my supposed check in. But the offered a great Deal luckily. All the hotels were not booked.

Sheets dirty. Two very very small pillows. No cover. Smelled smokey. No breakfast bar. Snowed evening before. Did not clean sidewalks or parking lot. Dirty hallway. Bathroom vanity faucet did not operate properly. Sprayed everywhere. Super 8 keeps deposit too long.

The light switch in the bathroom had no cover. It was hanging out of wall with ground wire exposed. The ceiling tiles were all stained like the roof had been leaking for years. There was no breakfast available even though when I booked the room it said “free breakfast included”. All in all tge place is a complete dump.

This place was disgusting! We did not stay. Blood and bugs were in the room. Cigarette burn holes on the comforter. So disgusting!

I checked out as soon as I got to the room . Got a refund . Sleeping outside would have been cleaner . The pillows looked like a college kid slept on them for 4 years at a frat house . The carpet didn’t looked like it was vacuumed ever . The mattresses were stained . No blankets. Dirty towels dirty fridge. I felt like I was in a seedy motel in Mexico . There wasn’t a front desk . It was a booth behind concrete and glass like walking up to get your bedding for your cot for jail .

There were many things in the room that were broken. It smelled in the hallway and it had a chemical smell in the room. At check-in we were told we could not check in because rooms were not available yet even though it was after 3:00 p.m.. there were cigarettes burns in the countertops and in the bedding. Curtains were falling off. The wall. Pillows were uncomfortable.

Check in was rough as the hotel did not have rooms ready at check out. Room was very run down and dated. The price is cheap for a bed for a quick over night but you get what you pay for. No bed bugs but we did see insects. Wouldn’t recommend even with the cheap price.

As soon as we opened the room door there was a nasty odor that didn’t go away. Secondly walk over by the window and there was dry wall all over the floor. From where I’m not to sure. As we were getting set for bed I put my charger on the table between the beds and next thing I know there are a bunch of cockroaches and then there was more in the bathroom. Was so disgusted grabbed our stuff and immediately left. Never been to a worse place before
