The Treehouse is on the same elevation as the main floor of the main house. The room features 6 twin beds, a desk, drawers, and ample floor space. There is an adorable and effective electronic fireplace (no flame) that heats the space in the cold months. There is not central air conditioning in this room, however, due to it being well shaded and well insulated and having a ceiling fan and many opening screened windows, the room stays cool and comfortable all summer long. The nearest bathroom is located just a few steps away in the main house.The Village of Michiana requires all guests to fill out and sign two brief forms before staying at any rental in the village. We have made this as easy as possible for our guests! The main level has 3 doors to access the full length balcony overlooking the front yard. Adjacent to the kitchen you'll find a large screened porch with a teak dining table, wet bar, Weber grill and our favorite, the oversized porch swing. The lower level has a large sectional, 60" smart TV, fireplace, mini bar, wine fridge, sauna, bedroom area, full bathroom, laundry, and two sliding doors that open up to the front ground level. The upper level has two bedrooms and a full bathroom with permanent bedding for eight, plus two rollout cots in the closet. The backyard features a brand new 7-person hot tub (delivered October 2021) with a wrap-around deck, outdoor shower, designated bon fire area and plenty of open forest to explore.
