Come enjoy this piece of heaven on Washburn Lake. This property offers all the amenities of home with shoreline on one of the most sought after lakes in the area. Washburn offers access to great fishing, sand beaches, and a wonderful lake community. Public access to the lake with 117' of shoreline to enjoy. The main cabin layout consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 full bath, with additional sleeping available in the living area. Central air and heat included with your stay. Kitchen fully furnished with standard appliances and a dining area. There is a mother in law suite attached (but has a separate entrance from the main cabin) where our uncle occasionally stays to help maintain the property. He is a very quiet older gentlemen but feel free to go to him with any questions you may have. He may even tell you some of his secret fishing spots ;).A 1.90 acre lot with a huge flat area down by the lake for all of your lake & yard game fun. fire pit and wraparound deck overlooking the property. There is a small fire pit available for burning with some wood provided. Propane gas grill is provided for all of your barbecue needs. Outdoor table & chairs on the deck for your use. Linens and bath towels furnished with washer and dryer provided.Pets are welcome however we do require a damage deposit and an additional $75 cleaning fee. We do limit this to (2) small/medium sized dogs. The cabin does sleep 8 comfortably but we do ask an additional $10/person per day for over 6 people. This helps cover additional cleaning fees and wear & tear to the property. A dock will be available for your use the during summer months. Seasonally we offer a pontoon available for rent at a rate of $175/day. We ask that if rented, the pontoon be used during daylight hours only. We do offer this an added amenity but cannot guarantee it will be available during your stay. Please contact ahead of time to verify availability. We do ask that you have experience driving a pontoon and have a valid drivers license that you can send us a copy of. There is lake fun for the whole family!Spring/Summer/Fall:You'll have full access to our “Toy Shed” where you will find corn hole, croquet, lake equipment, as well as zero gravity chairs for lounging. On a cooler day, cozy up with a book by the fireplace, check out our large selection of board games/puzzles, or enjoy family time with s’mores around a bonfire.Winter:Try out our free snowshoes to explore the woods or walk on the frozen lake. If ice fishing is your thing, bring your own equipment and access the lake right out the back door of the cabin. Or stay inside to sip a cup of coffee by the gas fireplace and watch the snow fall through the many oversized windows.If you are into high speed activities, bring your own snowmobiles and enjoy access to some of the area's best trails directly from the property. You'll even have the option to park a couple snowmobiles in the garage to keep them out of the elements.Kitchen/Dining Room:The kitchen is stocked with the essentials needed to cook your family a gourmet meal (pots, pans, silverware, dishes, glasses, serving bowls, serving spoons, olive oil, basic spices, etc). You will also find complementary coffee, hot chocolate, and an assortment of tea.Living Room:The living room offers a gas fireplace, comfortable couch, vaulted ceilings, and plenty of natural light. Bring the three comfy floor chairs down from the loft for extra seating!Sleeping Arrangements:There is a bedroom on the main floor with a comfortable memory foam queen mattress.The upstairs open loft offers a full futon and three twin beds separated into two connected spaces.You also have access to an adorable little bunkhouse just steps away from the backdoor of the cabin (open Memorial Day to Labor Day - there is no heat or AC). The bunkhouse has a full bed on the bottom and a twin bed on the top, electricity, a skylight, and a ceiling fan. This is a fun option for the kids!Workspace:No one likes to work on vacation, but if you must, you'll enjoy fiber fast internet and perfect lake views from the desk up in the loft. You may also spot some turkeys or deer wondering through the yard while you're on that Zoom call.Bathrooms:There is a full bathroom on the main floor with a washer and dryer (and laundry detergent for your use). You will find several options for outdoor yard games (snowshoes during the winter), fish cleaning table as well as campfire toasting sticks stocked in this room.Screened porch: situated along the lakeside, enjoy the peace of the woods with a cup of coffee in the morning or watch the sunset over the lake while comfortably seated out of the elements.Lake: the cabin is located on Lawrence Lake. Lawrence lake is a 230 acre lake with a maximum depth of 71 feet with opportunity for water recreation and fishing alike! It is connected to Roosevelt Lake (1510 acres) via a navigable channel for most fishing boats and smaller pontoons. Roosevelt offers miles of boating opportunities with a lakeside bar & grill and community dock system. Our favorite… what is better than an evening boat ride to listen to live music, get a bite to eat or every better… enjoy an ice cream cone?!?We have a natural shoreline at the cabin that offers great opportunities to catch glimpses of wildlife, but does not provide for a sandy beach. Please use the dock onsite to tie up your boat or use the water toys provided. We also have a boat lift on the dock that would accommodate most fishing boats under 17ft.Fire pits: 2 fire pits are located on the nearly 2 acre property. One is conveniently located right outside the cabin doors with the 2nd pit located near the waters edge. Plastic Adirondack chairs are onsite for use. A starter stash of firewood is also provided with your stay.Grill: we offer a pellet grill for use during your stay and stock the hopper full of pellets for your convenience.Water recreation: 2 paddle boards, paddle boat and 2 kayaks are stocked in the boat shed by the lake for use during your stay with a variety of life jackets as well.
