Natural attractions are Jennings Pond, Buttermilk Falls, and Robert H Treman State Park with its amazing natural swimming hole and falls. The stretch of Comfort road in front of the chalet is part of the Finger Lakes trail system and leads to a trail head that goes into Danby State Forest. Note: The cabin is surrounded by nature and as a result "nature" occasionally get inside. This is part of country living.
