Steer very clearly away from this place and do not believe the raving reviews on *********** because they are all either fake or written by the owner's friends. I had booked a room from Celebi Taksim Suits from September 21st to October 5th, and I had selected the “Pay on Property” option for it. A few days before the trip, the owner messaged me and told me my card was not working, which was odd. I told them to try the card again and to tell me the pre-deposit amount. (They said they had to take some money from my card that was supposed to be returned to me, and they didn’t tell me the amount for certain). After the owner tried the card again, their transaction was blocked because of a safety feature. I messaged them, but they did not reply. I called them and explained that I had added them to a safety list and that they could try again, but they said they would do it the day after that, and I also mentioned that I would pay on the property (which was selected in the options as well). However, in the morning, they did not try the card again at all. I took the flight, landed in Turkey at 5 p.m. because of the delay, messaged them, and told them that I was at the airport and that I was on the way. I did not have internet during the ride from the airport to the destination station. When I connected to the wifi on the street, I realized that they had been trying to take money from my card with random amounts: first time 900 euros, second time 500 euros, and in the end 173 euros because luckily I had not deposited too much on my card! I literally arrived at the hotel at 6 pm (only 1 hour later, which happens all the time because of delays, and no hotel ever randomly cancels a reservation because someone arrived 1 hour later than the time announced they were coming, especially since it was in the same day). They told me that the system had canceled my booking because of my late arrival, which sounded like a lie because 24 hours had not been completed, and he had clearly done that himself for no reason. And given that he had taken the deposit earlier, they could have confirmed it anyway but didn’t. He told us that we could stay at the place anyway, even though it was canceled, but the shenanigan he pulled cost me 108 euros worth of credit points from *********** as an Amazon Prime member that I was supposed to receive after my travel time had concluded. The only reason we decided to stay and didn’t just leave then and there was that it was hard to find another place for two weeks. Boy, what a mistake. The apartment is in the middle of a very bad, unsafe alley that is always loud at night and on a steep hill. The room itself was absolutely filthy; the pictures on *********** are all a lie. The “utensils and plates” they have are basically a bunch of horrifying dirty forks and knives under the sink.
