LOCATION BVG Marina is located on Playa Palmar and is a 3 minute walk to the Marina, which features several top quality restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chartered fishing trips and catamaran tours can be arranged at the Marina. The Marina Ixtapa Golf Club is located across the street, and is ranked by Golf Digest as one of Mexico's best courses. Ixtapa itself is a small resort town, with the center a 10 minute walk or short taxi ride from the BVG. There are shops, bars, restaurants, banks. Nearby Zihuatanejo is a larger town based around fishing, restaurants on the beach, and has larger supermarkets and many different shops and also a traditional Mexican market.
