Grand Heritage Narmada Jacksons

My very expensive jacket disappeared from my room. I called the hotel several times but they did not do enough to locate it. Was very upset about the loss. I could see from the CCTV footage that I entered the room wearing my jacket. But could not find it the next morning in the suitcase.

Staying at this hotel as a non-smoker was a dreadful experience on 1/17/24. Early morning someone was chain-smoking next door, and the bathroom was suffocatingly filled with smoke. The experience was beyond unpleasant, and the hotel's allowance of smoking in adjacent rooms made it nearly impossible to endure. Inquiring about the policy at the front desk yielded a cold response—they confirmed that smoking is allowed in the rooms.Non-smokers, beware of an inhospitable environment!

Worst hotel ever if you want to sleep!! Beds are uncomfortable, staff knocked at 8am to ask for laundry when we had only just checked in to the hotel and the hotel has 3 seperate event rooms that are on ground first and second floor 20m away from rooms your meant to be sleeping in playing loud music and screaming guests. I had to visit reception every night to ask when it was going to stop, visited one night at 1.30am to ask when it was going to finish cos so tired to be told it finished at 11 and they’ll send someone up to turn the music off. Within 15 minutes the music was shut off but then this followed by the next 45 minutes guests leaving the function screaming and shouting with kids running down the corridor. As a hotel is supposed to be to sleep I couldn’t call this place a hotel because sleeping here was impossible. Restaurant is very poor quality food! Natives got given the world, food served for them, drinks constantly and poured for them; as a travelling person and visitor, they were very ignorant and had to ask for water 3 times before received. I wish I could upload the videos of this hotel; honestly this is rated 5 star on here, the hotel states they’re a 4 star but it’s a 2*! Do yourselves a favour and stay anywhere else expect this hotel!! You could have a better night sleep in a hostel.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel with family. The staff was polite, well behaved and welcoming. The food I had in their restaurant was really really awesome and top notch. They also provided taxi for local sightseeing (not included in price) which was very convenient and their drivers are professionals. Room was big, spacious and very clean. Highly recommend this place to families

Good friendly staff. There is a very nice and authentic ayurvedic spa here. Rooms are ok. All basic facilities are available. You get good food too. Location is convenient. Good for Indian breakfast. Not much for those who like continental.

We've had a poor experience staying one night in this hotel. Positive point: very comfortable and clean Negative points: Unfriendly at reception upon arrival and during our stay. Having a room on the 1st floor just above the reception, the ***agment let 12 to 15 people going up to a room facing ours in the middle of the night. These people, staying on the landing (not everybody could fit in the oom) with women speaking outloud, letting children running around the corridors, without permission and not attended. Not to say that, earing the nose, nobody from the reception intervened. It was only when we got out of the room asking these people to stop the noise and "please, leave now", being ignored and that we started to make us hear, that one ***ager arrived and asked quietly to these people to leave. We were about to call the police and said so. People had been rude to us as if they were on their rights. No excuses from the ***ager and the next morning, when leaving the hotel, we've been totally ignored by the receptionnists. And that was our experience.

One of the finest hotels one could choose when on a visit to Jabalpur. The ambience, food, service is all impeccable. Their room service is one of the most efficient that we experienced. The GM Mr Pillai and ***ager Gibi are outstanding in being courteous and give personal attention to any requirement that the guests raise. We had a mini school get together by the poolside and the arrangements and service provided by the Hotel was excellent. A must return Hotel when visiting Jabalpur again !

We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel . It is a very well maintained heritage property. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious and clean . The food was up to the mark , the breakfast layout was good and fresh . In all a very satisfying and comfortable stay .

Very well located, terrific staff. The variety for vegetarians at breakfast is amongst the best we have ever experienced at any hotel in India. the chef is helpful and serves the best South indian and gujrati vegetarian food, that is non spicy and yet tasty. The rooms facing the pool are comfortable. The front desk team is very efficient. It is better to select suites as they are reasonably priced
