Hotel Terra Jackson Hole, a Noble House Resort

My husband and I stayed here when it first opened during the winter. We decided to come back with our 3 kids for summer. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it fit us perfectly. We had more than enough space. One bedroom had a king bed, the second had two queen beds, and my oldest slept in the Murphy bed in the living room. With a full kitchen, we were able to purchase a few groceries and make some of our own meals and take home leftovers from restaurants. They still had the winter boot dryers in the room so we used those for our wet shoes that got soaked during hikes. The only difference in the rooms since our very first stay their opening year is the towels are different (I came home and called the company to purchase them after the first trip). That was basically it. Oh, their lobby coffee could use real creamer instead of coffee mate. A hotel of this caliber should never have coffee mate for the only choice. All of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to say hello and make sure we were all taken care of. Housekeeping came daily if needed and replaced towels. Restaurant employees were fantastic. We ate breakfast and dinner there a few times. It was my daughter’s birthday and they made her dinner extra special. The Teton village area is beautiful. We went hiking and walked around the area a lot on our downtime. The village is close to the Grand Teton National Park entrance. Wyoming hot air balloon company picks you up in the village. The village is the place to be during the winter. During the summer, most people stay in the town of Jackson. I found that staying in the village was still wonderful. My three teenage daughters absolutely loved it and want to go back. Traveling in the beginning of June was great because we missed the crowds. The only thing is not everything was opened in the village yet. Def look that up when traveling in June.

Fabulous place at Teton Village. We loved the village vibe and the Terra hotel was very nice with great service, especially the front desk/office staff. Amazing views with great amenities! We loved the Italian restaurant. Nice experience!

Very disappointing stay at Hotel Terra. 10 night stay. The only ask we had at check-in was for a quiet room, which they said was no problem. Our room was next door, in the conference center, on the second floor, facing the parking lot and the Hostel next door. At six am every morning the trucks would arrive to unload. Not a quiet room in the least. The room was nice enough and clean, but the cleaning staff came at 8am on Saturday, and 530pm the next day - forcing us to ask for cleaning service on a daily basis whenever we left the room. Paper products (tp, tissues and paper towels) were of the cheapest quality I have ever seen - not good at $900/night. The parking lot was a disaster, with our pass being arbitrarily cancelled 3 times during our stay. Room service was very average in quality and very expensive. Will not return.

Upon arriving at the hotel and considering this was by far the most expensive hotel that we stayed at during our 2 week fly drive, we were looking forward to a lovely stay at this hotel, albeit for only 1 night. The reception was very pleasant and efficient and we quickly parked our car, free in the car park opposite the hotel, and made our way to our room. The room was one of the smallest, if not the smallest that we encountered during our trip, luckily it was only for 1 night. The in room safe would not open, we followed the instructions for opening it but to no avail. It should have been left open by the previous occupants when they departed. Never mind, we decided that we could do without the hassle of reporting it, we were only there for 1 night and a lot of hotels we stayed at didn't have a safe at all. Upon checking in we enquired whether we needed to book a table in the restaurant. We were told that they were very quiet and therefore it would be unnecessary to book a table. Upon arriving at the restaurant at about 6.15pm we requested a table for 2 and were informed that they were fully booked and there were no tables for 2 available. We were able to find space at the bar sitting on stools, not our preferred way of dining, but needs must. Upon requesting our check/bill having finished our meal/drinks, we were presented with a bill that had items included that we had not ordered, to the value of approximately $30. We brought this to the attention of the server and he went away and prepared another bill, this one being correct. These things do happen and only serve to reinforce the need to ensure that you are only being billed for items that yo have had. Back in our room we were having difficulty turning off the light over the coffee making machine. The light was quite bright and because of its position it was illuminating the room. I called down to reception to ask if how you turned off the light, was I missing something obvious. I was told that the light switch was at the back left of the light fitting. After searching and searching for this switch we finally gave up. It was going to be very difficult sleeping with the light on so I solved the problem by placing 2 loo rolls and a jar of coffee under the light, one on top of the other, the coffee lid was very slightly smaller that the light fitting and cut out any light. Problem solved. The following morning my wife got up to take a shower before breakfast. I heard a load bang from the bathroom and a my wife reappeared carrying the fitting from the shower responsible for diverting the water between the tap and the shower head. I was unable to mend this and there was no water coming from either the tap or the shower. Forget the shower. After breakfast we went to reception where we met Andres. He apologised for all of ours various issues and offered to either get the shower fixed or to let us use another room to take a shower. We found him to be extremely helpful and eventually he offer

The first night our room didn’t have AC and after 4 phone calls starting at 3 pm, a fan was brought to our room at 11:30 pm. We got a room switch the next morning and the dryer was missing one of the prongs for the outlets. We tried to use the pool on a Friday night and the staff at 9:40 came to our pile of stuff and grabbed the hotels towels. And when 2 others wanted to hop in- all the pool doors were locked at 9:45 on a Friday even though the hours are until 10. A quick 10 minute swim before close would have been amazing. $600 for a place to sleep with no amenities open late and no guarantee of the posted hours isn’t worth it. There’s a hostel in the same lot that is open until midnight with a pool table and a few other games that is under $300 a night. Each hostel room had an individual ac unit as well so it was easily manageable.

We had a great experience! Room was clean and comfortable. A nice porch with a view of the courtyard in the resort area. Concierge service was excellent, specifically Colleen was wonderful. Any issues we had (super minor) were fixed and attended to promptly. Housekeeping was friendly and hardworking. I loved the area and being able to walk to restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend!

The most outstanding characteristic of Terra Hotel at Jackson Hole was the staff. All very friendly and extremely helpful. In particular, Colleen Howarth, who was very professional in helping us plan some extraordinary trips such as horse back riding, white water rafting, Yellowstone tour and a fishing trip. Andres Isaza was very attentive and took a personal interest in solving whatever issue would arise. Very comfortable hotel with a very good restaurant in Osteria Il Villaggio. I would return in a minute.

Everything about this hotel was great. The staff, the concierge who booked everything for us, the rooms the housekeeping staff, they were all excellent. The washer and dryers were always available and the rooms extremely clean. We loved it so much we are already planning a trip back

Our experience at the Hotel Terra in Jackson Hole was wonderful. Great location, a room with a view, and an incredible Team. The onsite restaurant, Il Villaggio Osteria was very impressive. Great bar bites & drinks in the afternoon and an excellent dinner & wine selection for the evening. Special thanks to Colleen the Concierge, Riley in the restaurant, Tyler at the front desk, and all the other great Hotel Terra team members that made our stay fantastic.
