Mid-Levels Homestay

This was the best service we received in China so far. We booked the hotel quite last moment after contacting the owner, because they were extremely helpful securing for us the Fanjingshan tickets offline (because online tickets were sold out). Then they prepared breakfast and snacks for us before climbing the mountain. It is only a bit over a kilometer from the scenic area entrance. Our concierge Xiao Wu and his hospitality was beyond anything we ever experieneced in any hotel, he helped us organize a transportation, helped with translating, recommended the best restaurants in the area and even handled discounts for us. When it comes to the hotel itself - beautiful smaller place but with lot of rooms. The pool is nice relaxing treat after hard walking the main attraction in the area. Always clean and well organized. The only thing we did not understand was that big rooms had only one double bad, and room with two double beds was comparatively smaller.. I wish more international tourists would visit this area and this hotel in particular, the staff would appreciate practicing some English.. :-)

it rarely happens that one property exceeds your expectations in every way. this one did. tucked away between bamboos yet close enough to both the commercial village (10 min walk) and the fangjinshan entrance (15 min walk), it has a small, yet beautiful south-facing pool with sunlight just at the right moments. the rooms were larger and more functional than we imagined, with cozy terraces. the owners were absolutely amazing, pro-active and caring, providing coffee & fruits throughout the day and even driving us to Fangjinshan entrance. it was really nice and warming to see such high hospitality standards applied with genuine enthusiasm. highly recommended !

房間乾淨整潔，民宿安靜舒適，對睡眠不好的人真是救命了，這裏的民宿很多，但是把你當朋友的不多，我們爬山回來店裡幫我們做了薑糖水，咖啡，生怕我們感冒了，這個民宿就在竹林邊上，蟲鳴鳥叫特別愜意，來接我們的小管家雖然言辭不多，但是一直認認真真，細緻入微，非常好的一次住宿體驗，不白來啊，不白來！
