Efteling Hotel

We stayed in the Efteling Hotel for two nights and enjoyed the park for three days. We had a magical family moment. All the hotel and park staff made our days even more unique. See my daughter's eyes shining was priceless. If you are not a fairy tale person, I see you; try it. It's a fantastic place for all ages, and the people working there are incredible in doing your journaling even better. We left planning the next visit.

We stayed at the Efteling Hotel for 3 nights and had the most incredible time!!!!! The hotel is so lovely - very in keeping with the magical feel of the theme park itself. We stayed in the Coca Cola Suite, which was really lovely. There were a couple of things we thought would help to improve the experience such as proper black out curtains/blinds, bottled water or thinner pillows but mostly some Coca Cola bottles in the room fridge - found it really bizarre the stay didn’t include any! Besides that, the hotel breakfast was just divine and the dinner, whilst a little pricey, was delicious! We ate in both the restaurant and the bar and really enjoyed both experiences - the staff are just amazing!!! So polite and attentive. As for the theme park, the additional 30mins on a morning was fab, with our special entrance. We absolutely LOVED the magic of the park and think a lot of Harry Potter was inspired by the rides here. Two full days and the bits on our day or arrival and departure were just perfect for exploring everything. We used public transport to get to and from the Park and found it very easy so don’t be put off. The trains and buses are so frequent so there’s no problem at all - we stopped for lunch in Amsterdam as well, which which nice as I’d never been. Amazing visit all round - one of our favourites ever. If you’re after a magical experience with something for all the family, this is definitely worth a trip.

It was absolutely amazing. What a unique hotel with a wonderful room the best was the staff they were the most professional and friendliest people I have ever met they couldn’t do enough for us when we bombarded them with lots of questions. My daughter also has severe food allergies and they carefully prepared room service each night for her massive thanks for making our experience so positive thank you

This was our first trip to De Efteling, and what a lovely magical one! Firstly the staff are ALL so very helpful and friendly, much better than in the UK. They go out of their way for the customer! We stayed at the Efteling hotel for two nights, in a comfort room, which was lovely and had it's own entrance to the park only 5min walk away and early access to some rides at 9.30am. The reception staff there are so genuinely friendly and helpful! They helped us many times with questions. I lost my phone charger which I really needed for medication reasons, and they found and lent me one immediately! They also helped me post some postcards. The rooms are big, clean, comfortable and well themed, with a nice hot shower, a big TV, and AC. We requested a high floor room with a view facing the park, and they honoured this request, putting us on the top floor. Breakfast was continental buffet and fresh. The only thing missing I noticed was some sugar or sweetners for tea. The hotel restaurant is very high quality. I had the Venison steak, which was very nice. The only suggestion I have is that the menu was very limited and small, it would be nice to have more choice. The Bathouse swimming pool at the other hotel was also nice, warm and fun, although it was very busy when we went about 7-8pm. The lifeguard staff were very helpful, to lend us some towels and arrange for us a shuttle minibus to take us back to the Efteling hotel as it was dark and cold after park closing time, and would have been a long walk. We really appreciated the help as I am disabled and would not have been able to walk back! We really enjoyed our stay at Efteling and hope we can come back again soon! Highly recommend to anyone

Such a pretty hotel. It’s like you’re in a castle! The food is fantastic but a bit pricey, staff are helpful and so friendly. I would return in a heartbeat. Beautiful place to make memories with children from another culture. Lots of fun for all ages.

We stayed in the carousel suite for 2 nights and it did not disappoint! Never quite seen anything like it but its still a talking point for my 5 year old a month later- he loved the rocking horse and carousel music! We had a pretty rough year so I was determined to spend a bit more on a special room but worth every penny! Staff were also lovely and couldn't do enough for you. We will come back and maybe pick out a different suite as there's so many different themes to choose from!

A great hotel if you are staying at the Them Park with its own dedicated Theme Park Entrance. The hotel was also of a not too bad standard, although it could do with maintenance in the rooms such as painting. The windows also aren't double glazed so you can hear the traffic when facing the road which gets annoying when you want to sleep. All staff were very helpful and super friendly. Some characters can be found around the Lobby and even come into the bar! Breakfast was an OK choice but would have preferred more choice for cooked breakfast (inly pancakes, bacon and scrambled egg)

Very beautifully decorated rooms warm and comfy beds and a nice view. But there were also hidden fees, old and torn bath towels, dirty pillows and duvets. And could only check in after 16.00 but checkout was before 10.30 which is a very short time in the room. We had all our luggage but no access to our room almost until closing time of the park. And the hotel was not taking liability for any loss or theft or damage of our luggage in the luggage room. So they are creating a problem but not providing a sufficient solution.

Stayed here with my niece whilst visiting the park and she loved it. The rooms have lovely little touches that tie in with the park and a super little board game to play that astonishingly had all the pieces and was spotlessly clean. In fact the whole room and the hotel are very clean. Reception staff are really lovely, helpful and friendly. Staying in the hotel means you get into the park at 9:30, however, not all the rides are open then! Breakfast was good but dinner it was dreadful, service was really, really slow, nearly 2 hours! And the set menu is not good for the cost. We had steak, (which was extra!)and it came sliced and in gravy!! Get your dinner in the park it will be cheaper, quicker and better!
