Kaikoura Beach Motel

Located just opposite the sea is great. Free laundry room is the motivating point for me to return. Room is clean and spacious.

The only reason I rated it as good is because it has no air conditioning, apart from that very clean bed comfortable

Great location, clean & tidy, had everything we needed (plenty of plates, cups, utensils), good shower and very comfortable beds. Motel isn't serviced every day, which was ok but unexpected. No fan in the bathroom.

The location was great, we were able to walked to the beach and bars. The accommodation had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stat

Very happy with the choice I made to stay at Kaikoura Beach Motel; ours was a 2 bedrm unit, and while the complex is not new our unit had plenty of space, was spotlessly clean and very well maintained; parking right at the door and also a view of the ocean ... what more could one want ?? Also within walking distance to both the town centre one direction and the famous Pier Hotel in the other. Would I recommend this accommodation, definitely !!

We had a one bedroom apartment with a view over the beach. The apartment was large with good views. On the downside the cleaning needs to improve (don't really expect to find festering potato peeler behind microwave) and equipment for the kitchenette was minimal.

Kaikoura beach motel is in excellent location. The property needs a bit of attention as we had a broken toilet rollholder and Umbrella on out side table was broken. Also need a more utensils to cook and to eat as not enough cutlery. Microwave can not be use as there’s were not enough pots to heat up any things in it. Also the laundry room was at the back of our bedroom and some guest were using it until 11.00 pm so first night we did not get enough sleep. I asked manger to notice on the door not be used after 8.00pm and not before 8.00am and they did it promptly. That helped us to get better sleep on second night. I would politely ask for some compensation for this incident and inconvenience to us as we lost half a day because we got up so late on first day. This is un acceptable.
