Aloe Hotel – Adults Only

“This is my favourite hotel I have ever stayed in.” This is 100% true. The staff, setting and hospitality are unparalleled. We have loved our stay and feel like we’ve made friends for life. In particular, Maritsa and Emilios have been incredible and utterly lovely since the start of our holiday. The atmosphere here is welcoming, friendly and relaxed. We came off peak season when the town was very quiet, but the hotel more than made up for it. There were also lots of excursions available in the local area, which were all amazing. We stayed half board and the food has been good, plentiful and there are lots of vegetarian options. Please try the fried feta… you will not regret it. Greek night was a personal highlight and there has also been other live performances by the pool. There is always music and good vibes here. We would stay here again without a doubt. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday!

Amazing hotel and an amazing holiday. Staff were the friendliest people i have ever met and always went above and beyond. The room was cute and cozy but most of all comfortable. The stay was very easy, peaceful and relaxing with the hotel being very clean and tidy. The views were amazing and it is in a very convenient place with the use of scooters to get to town and into the busy places. The food was also amazing around the pool. I enjoyed my stay very much and would 100% stay here again.

Positives: Staff are amazing! So friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. It was very clean and any issues (a leak in our room) were dealt with quickly. Big supermarket just down the hill was very handy for supplies. Fridge in the room is always a bonus. Plenty of towels each day. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. We had lunch a couple of days around the pool; highly recommend the Greek salad. Negatives: We’ve stayed in many 4* hotels and wouldn’t say this qualifies. Room was much smaller than hoped for with no drawers and only 4 hangers for storage. The bed wasn’t the comfiest but did the job. Some days the shower was only luke warm. We had a lovely week here but would say it’s more suited to people in their 20s-30s!

We loved our stay here! Not sure why there is any bad reviews on this place. On arrival and throughout the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a standard room on the bottom floor and it was stunning and had everything we needed. The balcony was perfect with two chairs and a table to relax on. The bed was clean comfy and perfect and the decor was lovely. The bathroom was stunning with an amazing hot shower. We loved the fridge too as it meant we could have icy drinks whenever we wanted :-) One of our favourite parts was the breakfast. It had so many things to chose from there was something for everyone. I’m a pretty plain eater but also love to try new things and they would switch it up and bring out some traditional Greek foods to try and I always loved everything they served! One of the nicest hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had and we still talk about how good quality and delicious everything was. We had a cocktail by the pool once it was tasty but expensive and came in a paper cup which didn’t really entice us to get any more. We found the location of the hotel to be perfect. It was a short walk to lots of local shops and the main town of Faliraki where you can get food, drinks and souvenirs and there’s plenty to do. Because it’s a little walk away it’s super quiet and relaxing but not boring one bit. The hotel also had multiple excursions on offer and we took them up on one which was fabulous. We went to seven springs and the city of lindos afterwards which was stunning start to finish, completely safe and comfortable too. Very affordable and there is plenty more to do if you venture into the main town too! Almost daily we got a bus into Rhodes city Center by bus that stopped a short walk from the hotel very frequently. I believe it was about €2.50 each each way. The only downsides I would say would be the fact the pool wasn’t heated. It just meant that we couldn’t actually enjoy the pool while we were there which is a real shame. It was absolutely freezing in there we did brave it once or twice but only lasted a few minutes and it was painful. I understand it’s a hot country so in peak summer months it was probably a lovely temperature but would be amazing if it was nice and warm for people to enjoy year round! The sea was 10x warmer than the pool. The over all look of the hotel is gorgeous it’s so modern but so pretty and charming. It felt like true luxury we seriously loved our time here. I’d highly recommend for all of the reasons above!

Just arrived home from an amazing stay at Aloe hotel, from the attentive bar staff to the persistent cleaners. We had an amazing experience. The hotel is in a lovely area with nice views and easy access to faliraki town. We would 100% return. Special mentions to Emilio and his friend who is on the picture attached.

Friendly, clean, excellent food, amazing room service. Kralis and his team made sure our holiday was top notch. Really cannot fault this hotel. If you just want to unwind in peaceful wonderful surroundings then this is the place for you.

From the moment we arrived until we left we were taken care of in every way. The rooms were clean. People say in some reviews they were tired but it’s a hotel and rooms are used often. You can’t keep decorating them! Our room was lovely. Just right with a strong shower and plenty of hot water. We had a balcony with a view over the valley and a huge bed. (2 pushed together.) There are no pool or sea views from the balconys but this doesn’t spoil anything. You can see the see in the distance. The rooms have a safe but you need to ask for a key. They also have a fridge and air conditioning which turns off if the balcony door is opened. Great idea for those of use who think leaving it on when the door is open is a good idea. The staff were amazing. The cleaners were in the room every day and the room was spotless. The pool area and walkways were constantly cleaned. The staff in reception were always there and ready to help. The kettle in our room was leaking and was replaced as soon as we mentioned it. Reception organized a hire car for us and organized our pick time from the hotel for our return trip. The food was lovely. May not cater to all tastes but for me was perfect. Full breakfast! They have HP sauce if you ask. This is a buffet in the morning. There is also continental of course. Ask about using the toasters as they are a bit tricky. We went half board and loved our evening meal. They also do a Greek night which was a perfect evening meal and entertainment. There are stray cats about but they are no bother at all. We saw three of them. They don’t bother you and if you ignore them they will leave you alone. Most people feed them as we did. We like cats and the island has a large population. The kitchen and bar staff are excellent also. Very friendly and helpful. The cost of the meals here outside your board basis are very good. You can order from the restaurant after 1pm. You could easily get a sun lounger all day long but October isn’t too busy I guess. There are a collection of blow up lilos left by previous guests if you hunt around. People can have private pools here but the main pool is perfect. The hill to the hotel is only slightly steep and short. If you do have problems then use an electric scooter! We did! There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill but if you turn right and walk for 2 minutes there is a bigger cheaper one. The beach and town are about 15 to 20 minutes walk. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was just perfect. Especially beautiful in the evening. We will be staying again.

I came to Rhodes for a week to simply relax and do as little as possible, and this hotel was the perfect choice. It’s a great location - a little bit off the main road up a slight hill, which means it is very peaceful. There are buses to Rhodes and Lindos which stop about 10 minutes from the hotel and all the main restaurants and the beach are around 15-20 minutes walk. There is also a supermarket very nearby. The hotel itself is very relaxed, with decent sized rooms, a good shower, and a quiet balcony. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day. The continental breakfast provided plenty of fresh fruit and the pastries were very tasty. It was also very entertaining to be visited each morning by the local cats! The pool area is lovely with lots of sun loungers, daybeds and sofas to sit on. The pool itself isn’t heated but it’s very refreshing to cool off in, and I would imagine it’s far warmer in the height of summer. All the staff were very friendly and helpful in particular, the bar manager, Krallis. He kept the bar and pool area spotless, and served guests quickly and efficiently and always with a smile. I would definitely recommend anyone staying at the hotel to have drinks in the bar in the evening! The relaxed atmosphere and Krallis’s friendly manner made me feel very at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
