Elena Village

Мы с мужем только что вернулись из этого прекрасного отеля. Весь персонал был замечательным, дружелюбным, услужливым. Ничего особенного не было. Наш номер был на четвертом этаже. Он был хорошо оборудован. Была проблема с нашей бельевой веревкой на балконе, которую тут же устранили. Наши мусорные баки каждый день опорожнялись командой уборщиков. Бассейн был хороший. Да, кремовые подушки на шезлонгах в пятнах, но я не знаю, как их можно содержать в чистоте. От пота и солнцезащитных кремов. Мы просто берем свои полотенца, чтобы лежать на них. Завтрак был довольно хорошим. Большой выбор, команда по завтраку была действительно милой. Очень эффективно, готовили горячую еду, убирали и протирали столы - удивительно, как гости просто оставляют свои столы грязными. Ресторан тоже очень хороший, вы просто бронируете столик у Майка. Еда хорошая, обслуживание прекрасное. Мы ели там несколько раз. Ближайший город Масури находится примерно в 20 минутах ходьбы. Мы делали это каждый вечер в течение нашего двухнедельного отпуска. Ближайший пляж - небольшой каменистый. Мы не стали заморачиваться с пляжем. Есть неплохой пляж у лодочной пристани на Телиндосе. Это был хороший тихий остров. Стоит посетить. Мы также совершили поездку на лодке в Перисимос и Плати, которая была действительно хороша. В отеле есть лифт, который был действительно хорош, чтобы поднимать и спускать наши чемоданы. Но в остальном мы могли подниматься по ступенькам в наш номер несколько раз в день. Некоторые люди могут испытывать трудности с подъемом по ступенькам. Причина, по которой я поставил только 4 звезды, заключается в том, что уборщики на самом деле не убирали номер. Они опорожняли мусорные баки. Полотенца не меняли так часто, как в других отелях. The view is what makes this hotel. I took off two stars, because; There are a number of steps up to the main entrance. No ramp access. This is a major challenge when arriving with heavy luggage. In the absence of a hotel porter the staff members ought to have offered to assist our party of three young ladies, instead of watching us struggle up the steps with huge cases. Yes, I did notice the two male staff, I believe one being the hotel manager, turning a blind eye! There are no welcome packs on arrival, no information in the apartment. Just handed our key and left to it. The breakfast could be improved. Coffee was instant rather than filtered. Orange juice tasted distinctly like orange squash. No other fruit juice was available. Two types of cereal, just cornflakes and muesli. Various pastries and toast. Small selection of fruits in syrup. Just relieved to have a coffee machine in the apartment. The pool bar and restaurant have a small number of snacks and meals on the menu. The fries and chicken nuggets were overly deep fried, but not something we expected to see on the menu to be fair. We preferred to eat at local tavernas where the salads tasted divine. There are a handful of things to do within the area outside of the hotel, but beware as the road is not suitable for pedestrians. Traffic is a free for all, literally. We took taxis to the main port town of Pothia and also to the local harbour, and took a boat across to Telendos. Also booked two trips through jet2 - bus tour and an all day boat trip. So glad we opted for a private pool apartment, as the main hotel pool seemed busy. It was essential in the hot July temperatures. So nice to cool off in our own pool . Worth mentioning the free of charge laundry room. Ideal for when you need to do a little bit of laundry on holiday. The apartment certainly looked the part. The complex is beautifully designed to look authentically Greek. Stunning views of Telendos. It's an incredibly quiet and peaceful hotel. All I could hear in the mornings was the distant crowing of a cockeral. A truly amazing view from the hotel balcony. If you're looking for a beautiful hotel without noisy tourists then Elena Village is perfect. Just be prepared for a lot of travelling if coming from the UK. All in all a truly special holiday. I probably would visit again, but next time I will be sure to bring my husband to carry our cases and drive a hire car around Kalymnos. Ha, ha .

Oh wow what a lovely hotel We arrived late at night so completely in the dark . The following morning opening the curtains and seeing that view form a huge balcony!! We upgraded to a superior room well worth it separate bedroom Aircon in both rooms. Huge fridge kettle etc . Always very clean. All the staff here were lovely and very friendly can't thank them enough for a lovely hoilday. About a 15 minutes walk to the nearest bars and restaurants and about a 40 walk to the boat to go over to the island. A lovely hoilday and beautiful island Thanks all !!

Arrived into the Hotel mid afternoon, room was ready, had a private plunge pool which was lovely, amazing views from the room and the terrace, some of the best i have ever had in any Hotel. very well fitted out room, sofa bed plenty big enough for our 17 year old son, beds are firm but i am more than happy with that. A 15 minute stroll away from town but no hills to climb and not a busy road to walk along so that wasn't an issue, the pool area was excellent, plenty of sunbeds, good bar area, kept very clean by the team and also more of those wonderful views. The staff were amazing (deep breath here) the Receptionists, Breakfast team, cleaning team, pool boy, ladies that ran the bar/restaurant during the day, evening bar team and especially the lady who does the laundry, what a hard working, friendly team they are, i genuinely couldn't fault them, always happy to stop for a chat or give help/advice, a really great team of people and a credit to the Hotel. we had an electrical issue in the room and an issue with the pool and these were fixed within minutes, fantastic service. There is a small supermarket next to the Hotel run by a lovely old couple where you can purchase drinks, some food and some essential items, came in very handy indeed. The only reason i didn't give this a top rating is because we booked a room for 3 people, we had 2 sun loungers, we asked for a 3rd and were told no, we asked why and were told it's 2 to a room, i totally understand this if the Hotel is full but we were in a run of 4 rooms and 2 were empty for the whole 2 weeks we were there, couldn't we have just had one of those? we went on holiday as a family, we all work hard and don't see enough of each other so the plan was to chill mostly by our own pool, we were unable to do this as one of us had to sit in a chair, i appreciate this may seem a little petty but i believe that it's the little things that make good hotels great and believe me, the Elena has the potential to be a great Hotel. Would we go back? yes, as a couple for sure, just for the friendliness of the staff and the level of service, oh, and those views, amazing. Thank you Elena, it was a pleasure to visit you.

Everyone is hyping up this hotel but it needs som small fixing. Dont get me wrong, the hotel is still great and the staff (especially the restaurant staff) is super friendly and does a great job!! But some small improvements: the cleaning in the room is not good. When we arrived at the room there was still a lot of dirt on the floors and the sink was not cleaned. Cleaning happened every day but the standard was low. The breakfast was OK. The eggs were cold and overcooked (grey inside) No conditioner on the room? Is this a thing? The balcony in our room (newly renovated) has this huge space but still they only put one tiny table with 2 chairs - why not a outdoor couch or sunbeds? The pool area got busy because people who arent guests at the hotel can come and enjoy the pool. opening hours is 10-1800 for the pool. Still at 19:30 there are kids playing in the pool screaming while youre trying to enjoy a nice dinner. The sunbeds at the pool is also dirty and there is no pooltowels available so you need to buy at the minimarket. The parasols at the pool didnt fold down, and maybe 25% of the sundbeds had parasols which made people go down and put their towels on their sunbed before breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Elena Village. Its still a good hotel＜3

One ot the best hotels I have visited. First we were couple nights at Telendos, but porto potha had their pool empty, so we were transferred to Elena Village by Tjäreborg. Elena Village has everything you need. It is clean, everyone is super nice. Big apartments with seaview. We were able to look at Telendos-island. 30 minutes to harbour by walking and 5 minutes boattrip to Telendos, which has good hiking tracks. Good breakfast, good pool, ok gym, 15 minutes walk to restaurants.
