The Castle by Don Louis

My wife & I stayed at the Castle for 3 nights & our overall experience was terrific! From the moment we arrived, the staff could not do enough for us. When the showed us to our room we were blown away, great size with panoramic views over Kandy city. Great air conditioning, super bathroom. The food in the restaurant was really good & particular, the breakfast is top class! What was so good was, that if we wanted food that was not on the menu, just ask & the will Make given time. Some people of note, Ashiru, was a great young lad who looked after us so well in the restaurant during our stay. Kumesh the manager was very good, he made sure that everything was really smooth for us. Vishwa the hotel driver was very good at getting us to where we wanted to go at a reasonable price. Finally Koshi, the owner of the Castle, was wonderful! She spent time chatting with us & getting to know us, which was very nice. She also took time out of her busy schedule, to take us to her favourite spa, where we all got very nicely pampered. Thank you for that Koshi 😁 5 stars all around.

We visited this place last weekend (December 7–8, 2024) and had a wonderful time. The room was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The view through the glass window was breathtaking, offering stunning sights of the mountains and a serene atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed both the meals and the time spent there. The property also features a kids' play area, a pool, and facilities for games like carrom, making it perfect for families. I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again in the future!

Fantastic and peaceful location with fab views over the surrounding countryside around a 6 to 8 min drive to Kandy Town. But what made the holiday was the kindness of all the staff. We celebrated a big birthday whilst with them and they ensured it was a truly memorable occasion going truly above and beyond. Thanks so much !

If you are a person who always looks for calm, quite atmosphere over a book, chit-chat (I mean some washed gossip) or a swim with best ever exceptional services to feel "home away from home" and tantalize your taste buds, here's the place in Kandy to refresh your soul. You'll meet the best ever human touch from Management to the bottom of the team members with best services that they can offer to make you more comfortable during your stay. Me & my family enjoyed our 2 nights stay at the property & kids loved the pool & play area & I personally enjoyed their "yaara thae" & signature "Lime mocktail" with pretty much Sri Lankan cuisine. Highly recommended this property for your stay. Thanks for make our stay such special & Kudos to the team.......!!!!! Keep up the good work...... Cheers!!!

Le pongo 5 estrellas y porque no le puedo poner más. Llrgamos a este hotel de casualidad tras un incidente al llegar a la ciudad. El dueño nada más vernos se volcó en ayudarnos de una manera increíble, noble y desinteresada. Nos invitó a tranquilizarnos en su hall, nos puso algo de beber, nos ayudó a acudir a la policía y gracias a él pudimos entendernos con la misma, nos tradujo en todo momento y se volcó por ayudarnos. Nos dejó dormir en la suite, desayunar y no aceptó nuestro dinero de ninguna manera. Las habitaciones son espectaculares. Limpísimas, con una decoración exquisita y muy amplias, tienen unas vistas preciosas. El baño está completamente equipado, todo productos nuevos y envasados con unos acabados muy bonitos, además de contar con comida en la habitación. También tiene espacios adaptados para niños que están genial para familias! Parque, mesas de juego, sillas adaptadas para comer… Nos quedamos a cenar ahí, cenamos riquísimo, muy buen servicio y muy cómodo, todo dentro del mismo hotel y con mucha variedad de menú, de los mejores sitios en los que hemos cenado en Sri Lanka. El desayuno también muy rico, a la hora a la que tú quisieses bajar y con gran servicio. Después, cogimos el guía/tuktuk del propio hotel para hacer un tour por Kandy. Tapa era una excelente persona, muy muy buena y extremadamente generosa, nos cuidó de principio a fin. Gracias a la familia del Castle Don Louis por hacernos sentir como en casa, como en España. Por habernos cuidado y protegido, y por la inmensa generosidad y bondad que habéis tenido con nosotras. ¡Os esperamos en España y os queremos mucho!

Expérience exceptionnelle !! Établissement tenue par des frère et sœur …. ADORABLES !! Nous avons été bichonnés tout au long de notre séjour. Cocholee, la patronne, nous a pris en charge pour une visite personnalisée de la ville (temple, musée, danses traditionnelles, fabrique de thé, de bijoux…). On a eu l’impression de faire partie de la famille. Merci du fond du cœur pour cet accueil des plus chaleureux !
