Lemon Grove Hotels and Studios

We booked Lemon Grove for a 6 night girls holiday and really enjoyed it! We arrived early hours of the morning to check in and were greeted by Alex who was welcoming and got us sorted, we saw Alex over the week too and he was always lovely! We were charged an extra €30 per person for the use of air con and city tax for the 6 nights. The room was basic but had a good fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was small and with 3 people showering in the evening it did get quite flooded due to there not being a shower curtain. But the water pressure was great, water was always warm and didn’t take too long to dry up! We had housekeeping almost everyday, they changed the sheets and we had our towels changed once during the 6 nights. The pool was only busy a few days we were there but we didn’t struggle for a sun bed. They had the radio on everyday, usually started around 10-12. Hotel was really conveniently located to multiple shops that were open late and 24/7 and only a few minutes away from the Kavos strip.

genuinely the worst place to stay in kavos, receptionist is a nasty individual, security more like thieves, towels don’t get changed but then you get a hefty fine if there dirty, overall place is run by absolute ******, would not recommend

Great place to stay. First time taking my daughter abroad and wasn't sure what to expect. Complex Lemon Grove was a fantastic place to stay. People had told Kavos was a party town, would not have known that staying here. In fact, there was nothing about our holiday or location that would say party. A very family friendly accommodation. Great pool, very lovely staff, clean apartment serviced every day. Good food options nearby. A terrific holiday in a great location, in a good apartment.

After seeing the reviews I was dreading it going with my 14 year old moody daughter. But I can honestly say we had a great time, it’s very clean, bedding changed daily and towels, except Sundays but surely they are allowed 1 day off a week!! Cleaner was friendly and very thorough, hotel owners couldn’t do enough. Basic and cheap what more do you want for the price you pay for this hotel. It’s out the way of the strip but with in walking distance of everything. You can take food and drink to the pool which is fantastic when you’re on a budget, I honestly don’t know what all the bad reviews are about. You want 5* then go pay for it. But this is a beautiful typical Greek hotel with everything you need and a little bit more. I will definitely return minus the moody teenager!!

We arrived about 10.30 at night, at reception we were met by a lovely lady called Thalia, she explained about the air conditioner charge,hotel tax which we already knew about and had no problem with. We took the air conditioning for the 2 weeks which was cheaper than we expected we also had a safety deposit box which is provided for free which surprised us as there is usually a charge. Our room was basic but clean with clean bedding and towels provided regularly. We found the cleaner very honest she found 20 euros on our terrace and left it under our ashtray when the cleaner came next time we gave her the 20 euros for her honesty. The pool area was very nice the bar is closed permanently but this means you can bring your own food and drinks which was great. The manager Fennia was was very helpful about trips, cars hire or anything else you require. We went to Corfu town and Fennia recommend restaurants and places to see. If you're looking for somewhere to eat I recommend Big Max the food is delicious, the owner shops daily for fresh produce and he is really welcoming. Thaila has a jewelry shop just up the street which is very reasonable and lots of jewelry in silver or gold, she's a lovely lady and very helpful not just about jewelry but also places to eat and visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would gladly return. We stayed in room 34 and would like to thank Fennia and Thaila for a lovely holiday.

You get what you pay for but Alex made this holiday great! Basic everything but room cleaned daily, warm welcome from Alex and great location, this is not the Ritz but it’s ideal for fun holiday. We travelled as group of 4 men and no one had much to complain about. It is basic though so keep this in mind!
