Nature Lover’s Rustic Cabin, Kearney

Marvellous cottage! This is an extremely pleasant, comfortable cottage, and we had a marvellous stay! The living area is spacious with splendid windows that look out on the lake and a terrific wood burning stove. It being February, it was covered in ice and snow. There were snowshoes at the cottage which we used on the lake and in nearby Arrowhead Provincial Park. We definitely want to go back!

Great except for the stairs Cottage and lake awesome. Unfortunately I found the unusually deep steps down to the cottage a problem.

Peaceful and fun visit We had a blast and wished our stay was longer. Comfortable space, great kitchen and spectacular view of the lake. A very nice access point for swimming and getting out on a kayak. Just wish we saw more loons!

A perfect retreat! After a long drive, we arrived at the cabin. As soon as we entered, our eyes were transfixed to n the incredible view of the lake which inspired our inaugural dip. In the days to come, we settled in and found great rest. Dinners were easy as the kitchen was well equipped and our sleeping arrangements were comfortable. I might bring a fan for the back room next time l. We also brought a modem for wireless which worked beautifully! The couch and large dining table were perfect for rich conversations and the kayaks added variety in our days. Overall, our hosts were incredible. They were readily available for all our needs. Communication was easy and instructions were clear. We had such a great stay that we will definitely be back to this oasis! Thank you for such a restful getaway. One last thing, Huntsville was only 20 minutes away which allowed for easy groceries and stellar hikes at Arrowhead and Limberlost. Can’t wait to come back!

The best cottage in the area!! Such a beautiful scenery right in front of the cottage. The cottage inside feels so warm, cozy and clean. Feels like my grandma's house. Would definitely come back!!

Amazing cabin by the lake! We absolutely loved our experience here. We were 2 couples who just wanted to get out of the city and enjoy a calm and secluded long weekend, which is exactly what we were able to get with this cute and cozy cabin. The place is very well stocked up, kitchen wise, and had ample amount of towels, bed linen and so on. The place was big enough to accommodate both couples as it has 2 separate bed areas. The great highlight of this cabin is the lake, which unfortunately was frozen due to the time of year, but was such a picturesque view from the windows. It was very easy to get to. Parking was easily available and the check in process was simple. The instructions and communication by Jamie the host was seamless and friendly. All in all the place and experience was amazing and we would highly recommend it.
