The carpet had black stains everywhere. It looked as though someone had walked on it with mud and had never been cleaned. The windows were not insulated and as a result we were woken throughout the night by cars and garbage removal vans. In 2 of the 6 nights we stayed there, the hot water broke down and we weren’t able to take a shower. The hotel left a note in the room saying they were undergoing minor repairs - this hotel needs a major refurbishment !

Excellent small hotel in one of the most exclusive suburbs in Athens. Comfortable big beds cleaned rooms. Having all the facilities one would need in a modern hotel. We only stayed for a night but would definitely stay longer. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at the hotel. The carpet had bad stains to the point that we didn’t want to take our shoes off or spend time in the room. The water in the shower not very hot even on hottest setting. Pillows not comfortable. Some of the staff at front desk not pleasant, more of “it is what it is” attitude, vs trying to help. Would not recommend. Area around is quite pleasant though and only 15 min walk to mentor.

Miserable experience.. The floors were filthy and service was not good considering how much we paid. The housekeeper took $300 from us and they failed to care and told us we should have locked our money in the safe. Very difficult to enjoy our trip when this happens. I don’t recommend this place. $250 per night is ridiculous. I wish the owner was able to try and smooth things out with us. Instead of heating there’s nothing they can do…

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. My room overlooked an incredibly noisy restaurant compressor that I was assured would stop during the night—it didn’t. The constant noise made sleeping almost impossible. To make matters worse, the "included breakfast" was a complete joke: served in the room, it was shockingly poor in quality and quantity. Adding insult to injury, the room's carpet was stained and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. This hotel fails on all fronts: false promises, terrible amenities, and overall neglect. There are far better options in Greece—don’t waste your money here.

I stayed in a superior suite, with a terrace, on floor one, for three nights. This property could be five stars with some renovations and TLC. What's to love: - Perfectly located in a leafy residential neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants, and the metro stop - The building has great bones. Architectural details, high ceilings, big rooms, spacious terraces, etc. - The terrace! Mine was very large, and I was at eye level with verdant treetops. I enjoyed the smells and sounds (as opposed to noise) from the restaurant below and across the street, as well as listening to, and watching, the birds. Loved being outside - Quiet room. Lots of natural light. Windows and doors that let in fresh air - The kitchen was convenient What could be improved: - The shaggy carpet was disgusting. Stains everywhere - Beige carpet, beige walls, old beige furniture, old beige furnishings and decor. My room was badly in need of an update/makeover - No late checkout -- even though the room was available -- without paying 50% of the nightly rate. It wouldn't have cost them anything to let me stay a few extra hours - No breakfast restaurant: a boxed breakfast, which was the same every day, was delivered to the room. The contents were mediocre. Coffee was from an espresso machine. If renovations are in process, maybe offer dining at a neighboring hotel?

What a wonderful boutique hotel. We visited Kifissia in June 20223 - and stayed at The Kefalari Suites. We had a room with a veranda over looking Kolokotroni Street. The best - we will stay there again. Highly recommended. Easy walk to all the bars, restaurants and shops. Wonderful hotel, its quiet and in a great location.

The Kefalari is located in a very nice neighborhood with cute shops and nice restaurants. They offered us a breakfast box due to no restaurants serving breakfast in the neighborhood. We had to leave at 2:30 am for a flight, so missed out on that but they had Nespresso pods available as well as water. The rooms are beautiful and have great amenities but the carpet needs replacing. I believe they are in the midst of renovations. There is a small elevator and also cookies, coffee and bottled water in the lobby.

Thank you again to the staff for very kind and courteous service. I was only in Athens for one night, but so wanted to spend a few more days to enjoy everything the hotel and city had to offer. There is a certain old-world charm and urbane atmosphere. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

Βρέθηκα στο the kefalari suites για ένα γάμο. Είχα πει θα συμπλήρωνα την αξιολόγηση στο φυλλάδιο του δωματίου αλλά ξεχάστηκα κι έτσι ήρθα εδώ να αξιολογήσω την εμπειρία μου. Το δωμάτιο ήταν καταπληκτικό, είχε τα πάντα, τα κρεβάτια τόσο αναπαυτικά, είχε δύο μπαλκόνια, πεντακάθαρο και το καλύτερο από όλα ήταν οι κοπέλες στη ρεσεψιόν. Δεν έχω ξαναδεί τόση ευγένια τόση καλοσύνη και διάθεση για εξυπηρέτηση. Με το χαμόγελο και με καλή διάθεση. Μπράβο σας πραγματικά αν τύχει να ξανάρθω Αθήνα θα σας επιλέξω σίγουρα!!!
