Grand Lake & Lifetime of Vacations Resorts

I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Lake Resort in Kissimmee, FL, close to Walt Disney World and many other attractions. The resort impressed me with its charm. Despite being an older property, the accommodations were quite comfortable. I booked a one-bedroom unit for my 2 adult sons and myself, finding both the pull-out bed in the living area and the king-size bed in the bedroom to be quite comfy. Whipping up a great breakfast each morning in the kitchen was a breeze. The air conditioning worked well, and we didn’t need to set it too low to stay cool. The bathroom featured both a large bathtub and a walk-in shower, which, by the way, had a great shower head for tall folks like me. I’d highly recommend this spot for your next trip to the Magic Kingdom or any of the other nearby resorts. The staff was outstanding, promptly accommodating any requests for extra towels and such. Every time I visit Orlando, I make it a point to swing by Celebration, which is just a fifteen-minute drive from the resort. It's got a great vibe, awesome restaurants, and a beautiful lake to walk around. Adding to our adventure was a surprise visit to Gatorland! It turned out to be a blast for all of us, offering a unique and memorable experience. A tip: make sure to get a toll pass from your car rental to make zipping around Orlando a breeze. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

The place was clean. The staff was friendly. It wasn't a huge resort that you could get lost just finding your building. I took advantage of having a kitchen and cooked some meals there and saved money not having to eat out all the time.

Easy after hours check in. I called and made arrangements and was in my room in less than 5 minutes. The grounds overlooking the lake are a great sight after a day in the parks. A very quiet, peaceful, smaller resort. Zero timeshare pressure placed on me during my week long stay. Every restaurant you can think is within a 5-10 minute drive. Walmart is a mille away as well. Another bonus is the proximity to the parks. Using Sherberth road(which is 1 traffic light away) gets you to Animal Kingdom in about 7 minutes with no busy driving. The other 3 parks are between 10-14 minutes door to door, especially coming back. I did not use the outside amenities at the resort, but there were plenty of offerings if you choose to. The wifi was good enough to remotely work from the unit. The unit itself was clean and had all the essentials one would need for a good nights rest. I would come back here in the future.

This property was great. A little outdated but great for the price and had all the amenities we were looking for. Nearby shopping and restaurants made it even better. Was inconvenient when needed extra towels since we had to take to the front in order to get new towels. But friendly staff very quiet and clean.

Great location to the theme parks as well as ease of check in and cleanliness. Would definitely recommend this resort. Very spacious kitchen as well as nice bedroom with Jacuzzi tub. Everything working in the unit. No surprises.

I am an owner. I came originally on a RCI trade and purchased two weeks. It is situated on a beautiful lake with nice sunsets. Very helpful staff, Clean and great value. Lots to do on-site and off-site.

Poor customer service and was lied to by the staff. I was told it was a free vacation but in actuality I had to sit through another 90 minute (turned 4 hour) time share tour after already being through one previously. When I told them I was unhappy with the experience I was told that I was being rude and I deserved it.

If you want a quiet relaxing no frills resort this is for you. We enjoyed the serenity of the beautiful lake and sunsets. It's a friendly place and the staff is very accommodating. The location is excellent. Outside your door on rt. 192 you have every eatery you could ask for. Miniature golf across the street, Disney a couple of miles away and shopping galore. We enjoyed our week long stay. Amber, Nellie, Faith and staff were very friendly.

This place is a gem. It was crazy immaculate clean. Even the bathroom, by the pool was spotless. The manager Chris was extremely nice. He couldn't do enough to make your stay comfortable. If a worker saw you walking towards the office they ran in front of you to open the door. Everything you needed was in the room and was in good condition and worked well. It is situated on a beautiful lake. The view is gorgeous. It is peaceful and serene. There is a pier to fish off of, as well as canoes. There is a lovely tiki hut that you can sit in at night and have a drink as you watch the sunset. I can't wait to go back.
