The Natives Samui

On *********** a 4-star location, however definitely not more than a 3-star accommodation. Villa’s are spacious, however quite outdated. Other reviews stating being a 5-star accommodation convinced us for booking The Natives Samui, however are misleading or rated by travelers who never stayed in a 5-star accommodation before. Airconditioning and fans work well. Cleaning service - once every 2 days - is great. If you book, make sure to make a beach villa, hence you will be guaranteed of great / breathtaking views. Breakfast is moderate, coffee and bread (make sure to reserve) at the reception is great! Staff is also friendly and supportive. Resort also has a nice pool, however also some overdue maintenance with loose hanging planks, broken deck. Quite still area however there are several nice restaurants around, would recommend The Sea and The Hug Samui. Otherwise Grap or local taxi service will be able to bring you around. Most closely located 7to11 is at ~ 1 km walking distance. Bigger stores at least at 2 km’s.

Price/quality wise absolutely 5 stars. Amazing beachview villa. Kind staff, very good breakfast! The villa is bigger than expected and the view: stunning. Jump into the sea from your own little private garden. The area is quiet. There are a view restaurants nearby (thongs is good!) And massage places (luxe massage amazing). But no nightlife, bars etc. So are you looking for an amazing villa for you and your family, go here. Do you look for a buzzing vibe, don't go here.

We reserved 8 months ago and were looking forward to the holiday. After 7 months, a few weeks before departure, the hotel simply canceled our villas. When asked, the hotel was said to be overbooked and behaved very unprofessionally. So if you reserve a room/villa here, you cannot be sure that you will also be on vacation there.

What a fantastic stay...secluded very private house in a wonderfull exotic setting with big coconut trees and the sounds of the sea...nothing else....but privacy with an outstanding breakfast, every morning another surprise...fresh and delicious. The owner herselft calm and so friendly, with a fantastic bakery inside the resortm, we loved to stay here every minute. Small authentic restaurants to every side in a few minutes and a 7-eleven just 1 km away. We´re already planning to come back here next summer, till then stay happy and all the best to you Thomas and family

Really nice place at the sea. The villas are suitable for family with 2 or more kids There are not so many restaurants near the villas but the place is awesome Very friendly and also flexible - our flight was changed and they charged only the nights we stayed there
