Aegean View Aqua Resort

I came 30th sep- 14th oct Staff were lovely especially the reception lady she helped with everything we needed. There’s a free bus to and from Kos town centre 5 pools, -Quiet pool for elderly and people who’d like a more quiet swim -main pool next to pool bar. Really deep -another pool it’s quiet but also get busy at times -big pool with bar and 3 water slides 1 of them for toddlers -shallow pool with volley ball net There is sandwiches and hot dogs on as snacks and self serve ice scream all day. Free gyros aswell as slices of cake Fresh towels and bed made everyday Food I had no complaints there was a good variety, not good if you’re a picky eater tho. Every meal time I always had a full plate so nothing to complain about. They have a restaurant upstairs that has themed nights that you put your name down for. Overall I enjoyed this hotel and I would recommend to anyone aswell as I’d definitely come back here if I come back to Kos. Only a few small complaints - Our toilet seat didn’t fit on the toilet bowel properly -Entertainment could of been better we weren’t bothered about it -Good Wifi however you’d disconnect every now and again. Quite annoying Overall very good hotel

Hôtel ne mérite pas les 4* , Points négatifs : • saleté dans les espaces communs , des gobelets dans la piscine et dans les autres espaces communs • entretien des chambres à revoir , les personnes de l’entretien nettoient le sol avec vos anciennes essuie de bain :/ (j’ai vu de mes yeux quand la dame nettoyait le sol de la chambre ainsi que les escaliers menant à la chambre avec les essuies que nous avons laissé à remplacé !!! • Des cafards / fourmis , (des petits lézards chez des touristes qu’on a rencontré à cet hôtel ) dans les chambres • pas d’eau chaude pendant 3 jours • pas de pression d’eau pour prendre la douche ( résolu les 4ème jour) • en ce qui concerne le buffet tous les jours la même chose , le 4ème jour moi et la femme ne pouvant plus regarder la même nourriture, on a décidé en dehors de l’hôtel !!! •l’hôtel loin de tout !!! Nous sommes une famille avec deux enfants (6-10 ans) une seul fois on a fait la descente à pied (30 min) ainsi que le retour vers l’hôtel (1h). • nous avons commandé 3 x un taxi qui ne sont jamais arrivés, les taxi préfèrent prendre des clients près de la plage et le port pour la même course que de devoir monter la colline ( info d’un chauffeur de Taxi ) il existe des transporteur privé pour 5€ /par personne/ par course. •les piscines sont très mal entretenues • le All in au bar Coctail / très mauvaise qualité •tous les jours (mercredi congé) les mêmes animations , Aquagym / mini -disco / Kraoke ou Blind Test • 4-5 chaînes à la TV ( que germanophones) Pour les points positifs très difficile à trouver mais : • la vue du bar de la piscine formidable On a rencontré 4 couples ( famille ) sur place avec qui on a sympathisé et eux aussi sont vraiment déçus de ces vacances . En lisant les commentaires sur TripAdvisor , j’ai fais confiance à ces commentaires mais croyez moi , hôtel à éviter 😉 C’est un hôtel avec beaucoup de potentiel mais il faut faire beaucoup de changement , une organisation et le succès sera à vous !!!

Nice hotel out of the way of everything. Food is a little bit hit and miss but lovely pool area and the rooms are clean with really comfy beds. The bus down to the town is great but could do with more times or a much bigger bus as the ques were pretty long.

Lorenc and Katerina are very good bar tenders, made mine and my friends evening very very enjoyable and brought us our drinks over, the food was delicious and is such a lovely resort with lots of pools to chose from! There also is a couple slides which are Great fun!

We returned from this dreadful place at the end of August. We travelled through Jet2holidays and I am still battling a complaint! Where do I start! I was contacted before the holiday to say the inflatables had been removed from the pool so as you can imagine, very disappointed children before we even set off. I was aso told the third restaurant was no longer available but Greek and Italian still on but on different nights. This was not the case at all. We stayed at the Aegean View Aqua Resort that was advertised by you as a 3 plus star Hotel and scores 4 out of 5 on TripAdvisor. When we arrived at the hotel my parents were given a room that had no hot water and the air-conditioning unit was dripping water and spitting out dust and black dirt. The terrace looked out at a wall with an air-conditioning unit blowing out hot air onto their balcony. (See pictures) The shower also fell off the wall when my Dad tried to use it. They were moved the next day by the help of a Tui rep as no Jet2 rep present. Did not see one all holiday! The Tui rep was actually there giving out complimentary bottles of wine and gifts to guests who were complaining and advising them about compensation on their return to the UK to apologise for the hotel! I honestly don't know where to start. The hotel is badly run and in need of some major repairs. Our rooms constantly had power cuts, lasting anything from 2 minutes to over an hour. Not helpful as no air-conditioning for that time and unable to use anything. The pools were disgusting (see pictures) Algae around all pools, dirt along the bottom and it felt slimy on your feet. Broken grills, rotting wood around them and in the waterpark pool there were even pipes sticking out the bottom which my father cut his foot on. The walk way to the slides had stagnant water puddles and was absolutely filthy! (See pictures) I never once saw any of these areas cleaned and it was clear that returning day after day that no cleaning had taken place. Serious health hazard and probably part of the reason my children were so sick whilst there. The main buffet restaurant food was terrible and the same every single day. We had to clear our own table, wipe it with our own wipes and set it ourselves at most sittings. No cleaning equipment anywhere! The Desserts were all from frozen and not properly defrosted with water in them. Fizzy drinks, if you left them for more than 5 minutes it would seperate leaving syrup sugar at the bottom and clear at the top. The restaurant was swarming with begging cats that tried to jump on your table as you were eating (see pictures). There was a cable that ran from one side of the outside restaurant to the other that was a permanent fixture and a total trip hazard. My 75 year old Mother tripped over this and hurt her back which she already suffers with (see pictures) The only other option for dining was the Greek restaurant which we were led to believe was a la carte but was actually just another buffet with the sa
