Beautiful grounds which were kept clean and neat. We had a superior 2 bed room which was spacious with 4 single beds, but we were given a terrace which was opposite the reception so wasn’t overly happy with that. The shower over the bath was a bit rubbish as the shower head was in the middle of the wall pointing towards the bathroom floor and the shower curtain belongs in the bin. For what I paid the bathroom was disappointing. 5 min walk to the beach down a gravel track, the beach has lots and lots of sun beds €5 per bed, there is also water sports. The beach was great. 5 min walk to the town and bus stop, Lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. Greek night in Zia not to be missed, we booked this through the TUI rep. 7 course meal was fabulous , as much wine as you can drink too, not much choice for kids and there drinks need to be purchased along with any other drinks if wine isn’t for you. The hotel - No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, this frustrated me a little. I want to have time in the room to wake up before I go eat, so I don’t always want to go straight to the buffet for a coffee. We ended up buying cold coffee in a can from the town (cheaper than the on-site shop) and put those in the little fridge in the room. That cost us €6 a day. All inclusive- you are only allowed filter coffee and herbal tea. The coke/Diet Coke taste the same and the pop is pretty much flat. It all comes out of a pump, if you don’t want water out of the pump the bar charge you €1.50 for a bottle, which I just thought was ludicrous when it was so hot everyday, I only tend to drink bottled water abroad and after paying for all inclusive I would expect that to be included. I had read on trip advisor the only alcohol was beer, wine, rum and ouzo, when we arrived Gin was also on the all inclusive, they would fill half your cup with it and you couldn’t really taste the gin. You have to pay for cocktails which start at €5. Food - Was ok, one morning I fancied scrambled egg, got to my table with it and it was freezing cold, didn’t eat it. Another morning I had yogurt with fruits and nuts that was nice. But there was also carrots and broccoli served with breakfast which was strange, no one really touched it either so they probably heated them up at lunch time. Lunch and dinner was very samiy, one evening they served Brussels sprouts as the vegetable option. I like Brussel sprouts, these were not nice, Pork in sauce was on the menu every day twice a day along with pasta, rice , spag bowl and white fish. Then you would have a quiche or a cheese pie, or breaded turkey stuffed with ham and cheese, at lunch there were chips, The salad choice was good. Bread was stale every time. The chicken nuggets and fish fingers for the kids were brown inside and just weird. Overall the food felt very samey and we ended up eating dinner out a lot as we couldn’t stomach it each evening. The best evening for food was the Greek night which they do on a Monday, that was gr
