Hardanger House

This is a very clean, modern but minimalistic hotel. There are less than a dozen rooms here. There is free parking and plenty of space to park. All the rooms are lined up in one row. So if a neighbor has their door open and your door is open you can clearly hear them talking. Each room has a balcony with a heater looking out over the fjord. The sunset view is amazing. The rooms are clean but no frills for sure but we were in Jondal to explore not sit in the room. The shower was large and had plenty of hot water. We elected for the 3 course dinner. The dinning room is kind of like a conference room and more functional than cozy. The food was excellent though and the service perfect. The meal was about $75/pp without alcohol but they did offer wine pairing with each course. The dessert wine was excellent and made in Jondal. The hotel is very close to the ferry if you are headed to toward Bergen. A pleasant stay.
