We loved staying here. Such a beautiful location and well presented accommodation with everything you need. Plenty of hot water. The little kitchen was full of useful utensils and cooking equipment. Lovely, comfy and clean. Just one negative word - rooster!

Flora Glamping de Abuela was an amazing experience! Even before we got there we contacted the host: Evi, who helped us a lot with planning our stay at La Fortuna and book some attractions. The place has an amazing location! Just outside the city but 5 minutes drive so you can enjoy the quiet and the perfect view of the Arenal volcano and still feel close to the city. Evi was available for us at all times with every question or help we needed. The room was spacious and clean but take into account that the toilet and shower are in the same space as the rest of the room. However with only 2 glamping tents you can really feel the privacy. The shared kitchen was well equipped with all the things we needed, and was designed optimistically.

This place is beyond amazing! The tent is very cozy and super clean and has an own bathroom. The view is so incredible beautiful. You wake up with the sound of nature and a view directly at the vulcano. The Waterfall is a 20 min walk away and the accomondation is at a road with lots of activities. The host is so kind and offers spontaneous transportations through the Country. We will recommend this place to everyone! Thank you so so much for this great Experience!

This place is just beautiful! Stayed with my partner, originally booked for 7 nights but extended to 10 as we loved it so much! Do not hesitate to book. This is the perfect accommodation if you want to experience the natural beauty and wildlife of Costa Rica. Our tent was very clean and comfortable, and we had a private bathroom with shower inside the tent, so no trips outside to get to a loo! We were able to have complete use of the kitchen which was fully equipped and clean. The kitchen is shared between the two tents but nobody was in the other tent during our stay so we had it all to ourselves. On clear days you will have an uninterrupted view of the volcano which is just stunning! The location is great, it’s about a 10 minute drive to the town of La Fortuna. You can eat gorgeous food here, explore local shops, listen to live music and take in more views of the volcano. You can also walk from the campsite for about 20 minutes taking you to the amazing La Fortuna waterfall! Evi is the owner of this fantastic site and she drove us around during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, she was just so lovely! We could send her a message to say we would like to go somewhere and she would take us. She drove us to the hanging bridges which is a lovely afternoon trip to do! She also offers airport transfers to and from San Jose. She even stopped at a stunning restaurant on our way to the airport so that we could eat and break up the journey, where they had lots of humming birds and squirrels. We became comfortable with all the beautiful wildlife at the campsite, ranging by from birds to bugs and insects. Not forgetting the cows in the field opposite the tents who entertained us greatly! Her dad was very kind to us, offering us fresh eggs from his chickens for free which were absolutely delicious! And he kindly took us to a hidden waterfall in the rainforest. We cannot fault this place, it was so special and we felt so safe and welcome! I recommend booking! Please note, the lack of reviews so far is due to this being quite a new business. Don’t let this put you off.

Heerlijke locatie, makkelijk te bereiken met de auto en veel hotspots dichtbij. In de ochtend heerlijk wakker met als je geluk hebt het uitzicht op de vulkaan! 🌋 Pura vida
