HAVEN OF SERENITY in the middle of nature! Breathtaking view, clean simple bungalows, very rich breakfast, friendly and efficient personnel. A plus is the shuttle service from/to airport and Labuan Bajo. Nice pool, comfortable sun-beds, rich gardens with lots of butterflies.

After an intensive couple of weeks on holiday in the region, we were looking for comfortable accommodation to relax and plan our ongoing travels in Flores. We stayed in one of the villas for three nights and enjoyed the spacious accommodation, gardens, and pool. As others have mentioned, the local drop-off/collection service provided by Melky was a great extra touch. Additionally, the staff also recommended a driver/guide for our onward travels, which was incredibly helpful. It’s these thoughtful extras that we really appreciated.

Highly recommended! The location is a bit outside of the hustle and bustle of the town, it’s quiet and has the most beautiful views, a very well cared for garden, pool, very nice and helpful staff members and truly feels like a small paradise! This was the second time we stayed at Villa Domanik and we would definitely come back again. They offer a free shuttle to town and back which is very convenient as other taxi drivers do not know the place very well and it does take about 10-15min to drive to Labuan Bajo’s main street. The breakfasts are very delicious as well with various options you can choose from, fresh fruitplatters and juices, and if you would like to eat there in the evening, you can tell them in advance and they cook a delicious dinner.

**** warning **** The taxi driver that took us to Villa Domanik from the airport, who is friends with the owner of Villa Domanik, robbed my husband and I! Beware! He is a very dangerous man. I have attached his photo. In addition, let me tell you about how awful Villa Domanik is*** These photos speak a thousand words. Don’t skip the bad reviews on this place! Just look at the cigarette butt in my shower… They didn’t want to clean our room for us, even though there were dead bugs, dust, dirt, and white crusties on and in the bedding. When we asked for it to be cleaned, we were told “no”. When we asked if they didn’t want us to stay, we were told that we should leave. They want your money but don’t respect you enough to clean it for you. The pool was disgusting and murky, don’t swim in it unless you want an infection. Also, the guy that drives shuttle and manages gave us a fake number.. same guy we dealt with the bed. Just lies through his teeth. And the owner was there and did nothing to compensate us or help us solve the issue… so we had to leave at 10:00 pm to find another accommodation. I would avoid this place like the plague. It is not worth the asking price. For a bit more you can stay at a nice hotel with great service and standards.

Very friendly staff. They helped us with all the activities, booked our tours to pirate island and Komodo park. They also gave excellent suggestions of restaurants and places to visit. They have free shuttle to the city anytime we needed. The breakfast is really good and the view amazing !

We had an absolutely terrible experience at this villa. The rooms were absolutely filthy and the hotel staff refused to clean it. There was dirt in the bed and we literally had a cigarette but in our shower. The pool is so dirty that I didn’t dare get in. It looks like it’s never drained and cleaned… lots of algae. And the owner and manager are super rude. It was a horrible and off putting experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Villa Domanik is an amazing place. Peaceful and the most friendly host and staff you'll find on the island. The rooms are large and clean with comfy mattresses. The breakfast is great and, if you order the pancakes you'll get jam made by Domanik herself, and they are sensational. The staff were more than helpful throughout our stay, recommending activities, food, scooter rental and even negotiating an express laundry service on a Sunday. There is no dinner at the villa, but you can order takeaway or the staff will drop you into town and pick you up again up until about 9:30pm. Overall, we highly recommend a stay here.

A fancy new hotel recently opened next to the marina in Labuan Bajo, but it’s hard to imagine it would be a better choice to stay at than the Villa Domanik. It’s situated on the hillside high above the town, maybe ten minutes drive from the center of town. The gardens and dining area are beautiful, the latter with stunning views of Flores Bay. We stayed in one of the bungalows, which was both extremely comfortable, beautifully appointed, and well-designed. It’s good to be aware that the only food prepared on-site is breakfast. You can order other meals, good if not dazzling, from a nearby Italian restaurant, or we could have chosen to venture into town on an shuttle from the villa. But we didn’t want to leave the site. The whole staff was warmly welcoming, and Didi, the astute young manager was particularly fun to talk to. He also helped us found find a great place to buy some example of local island craftsmanship. We came away thinking this surely must be the best place to stay on Labuan Bajo.

What an amazing experience! The villa was clean, the staff is amazing, great breakfast, the pool is nice and quite. The property and view are incredible. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the stay in this property.
