Secluded 2BR/2BA chalet on a forested 30+ acres adjacent to the Mt. Massive Wilderness Area to enjoy a never-ending backyard! Our 3-story chalet features a sauna, an expansive deck to take in the views, and even a private pickleball/platform tennis court (weather permitting). Option to sleep another person on an L-shaped couch with ottoman and mattress pad. Take advantage of nearby skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, fishing, and river rafting. 100% wind power from the utility provider. Satellite Internet and LTE work great! Stay connected or totally disconnect. Property is easily accessible in winter! Adjacent SH-300 road is regularly plowed by the State. Leadville sits at 10,200 feet in altitude and is centrally located in Colorado. Great place from which to launch adventures! Many ski areas are within about an hour's drive in the winter: Ski Cooper - ~15 miles Copper Mountain - ~30 miles Beaver Creek - ~44 miles Breckenridge - ~46 miles Keystone - ~48 miles Vail - ~50 miles Loveland - ~51 miles Arapahoe Basin - ~52 miles Monarch Mountain - ~73 miles In the summer, Aspen is accessible via nearby Independence Pass. Buena Vista and access to commercial rafting operations are ~33 miles away. Climb nearby '14ers' Mt. Elbert and Mt. Beautiful location A wonderful gem. Nice little place away from the crowds. Parking was a little different. I would stay there again. Very happy with everything.

Cozy cabin Easy check in, owner was very nice and easy to get ahold of. Parking is a little hard if you have a large trailer like we did but it's not impossible. Beds were actually some of the best we've had. We didn't use the sauna.

Get away in the mountains Need to unplug and get away from it all? While there is high speed internet, it was great to just relax at the fire pit, see wildlife, and enjoy exploring the property. The kitchen had all the tools that allowed us to prepare some great meals. David had a great recommendation for Treeline Kitchen for a great restaurant in Leadville.

Snow Boarding with the boys Had a great time. Cabin is secluded and quaint. Too much snow to really enjoy the outside amenities but we did not have much time for that.

Great location for climbing Mount Elbert! This was the perfect location for climbing Mount Elbert, and very close to Leadville and Twin Lakes - but still had a remote feel. It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

Weekend stay for the Leadville Trail 100 Excellent location, comfortable place, with a well-stocked full kitchen and nice communal living room space. Our group used this cabin as a home base for crewing, pacing, or running the Leadville Trail 100. Driveway could fit 4 cars no problem, decent cell service, and location was close to the race start/finish, aid stations, and shuttle locations. Only downside of this place might be that the hardwood in the upstairs bedroom makes it more challenging to be quiet while other people are sleeping downstairs. But overall convenient and comfortable!

Great Cabin This property was very nice. We have three boys who loved playing on the tennis court and exploring the woods in the backyard. Nice secluded location so no one around to bother you. Leadville was close by but it’s kind of a different town. Overall it was a place I’d go back to.

Peaceful Beautiful location and property. My wife and our two boys loved our stay. Living room was a bit small for four adults but we made it work. No regrets. Loved it!
