Villa la Coste

Fantastic at every step. The rooms are luxe, this is not a castle or the like so if that is your desire you will be missing out on a very special experience. The service never misses anything. They arrange everything and anticipate what you may need. We ate at the fine dining which was lovely in a beautiful setting. A little much on the wine markups but everything was so special. The Argentinian restaurant was magnificent and the Italian also nice for a relaxed evening. The rooms are magnificent where you just want to relax all day but the spa and pool await which is terrific. We used both and delighted. The art is remarkable and they offer a tour as it is so expansive. The property is a bit remote but that's part of the magic and you can get to towns in 30 minutes and other day tours in an hour so would not let stand in your way of experiencing this magical property.

This is a beautiful property outside of Aix-en-Provence. For us, we would rather stay closer to town, but if you're looking for a get away this may be the place. We had a pool suite but the weather wasn't really warm enough the 4 nights we were there. We had dinner at the hotels Francois Mallman while Chef was on site. The Spa and massage were very nice. Villa La Coste is known for its art collection and that doesn't disappoint...Damian Hirst (lots) George Nakashima (there is a bench to sit on when checking in...amazing) Ferdinand Leger at breakfast, George Nelson in the lobby, Alexander Calder-one is staying in a museum. We loved going into Aix-en-Provence. We had a great driver (Jeremy) whom I would recommend. The bathroom has a Toto toilet (without all the bells and whistles) which was nice. The suite was lovely.

I can only reiterate the positive feedback from the many other top reviews. I was truly amazed at the lovely hotel and the world class art. I was in a Villa Suite -- worth the splurge. I did the wine tasting and the architecture/art walk. If you like Aman and Six Senses then you will be happy here!

we stayed here for 4 nights at the end of May and it was fabulous. It was first booked in may 2020 so after 3 cancellations we finally arrived and it was well worth the wait. WE had a fabulous 4 days and cant wait to get back again. Food was fabulous but highlight was the argentinan restaurant and the steaks were perfect

Villa La Coste is an amazing property with beautiful grounds, interesting art installations and friendly professional service. This is a different kind of a hotel than most hotels. It offers a lot on property and you really can stay a couple of days and not get bored. It is a serene hotel, away from the hustle and bustle. The ideal place to relax, unwind and recharge. I unfortunately did not receive a room overlooking the vineyards, even though I had requested it, I had a room overlooking mature trees. The room was nice and big, I loved the little luxury accents throughout the room. I also loved the monogramed white linen that covered the sofas, insuring every guest gets a clean sofa to enjoy. Our breakfast at the terrace was nice, ( again it would have been nicer had we had vineyard views), afternoon drinks on the hotel terrace was nice also. The hotel has several restaurants but I unfortunately only tried Helene Darroze since I was there only for 2 nights. I did not get a chance to do the art tour, which again I heard was exceptional and I did not get a chance to do a wine tour. My recommendation for Villa La Coste is to stay on property for more than 2 nights to be able to enjoy all the activities the hotel offers. I had planned many activities outside the hotel , and therefore I did not get a chance to do the wine tour, art tour and enjoy the pool and the spa. I give it my GoldnAdvice seal of approval.

My first visit to Provence was wonderful at villa la Coste. The room is one of my favorite with views of the vineyard. Food was great, service was personal and impeccable. A totally enjoyable experience. The artwork throughout is so much fun to explore
