But if you’re planning to stay more than one night, you might want to think twice… Let’s talk about the bed: firm, with equally firm pillows, so if you prefer sleeping on a cloud, you’re in for a rough night. Light sleepers beware—thin walls mean you’ll be serenaded by corridor noise and door slams, not to mention the mysterious, ever-running water from who-knows-where (probably the rooms next door)! Amenities? Minimal. One towel, no in-room kettle (hot water is available downstairs for 20p—bring your own cup or get one from reception! Other hot drinks and a vending machine are available in reception too), and you’ll need to request a hair dryer at reception. Bottom line: great for a quick, no-frills stopover, but not the most restful stay.
