Excellent hotel. Great service and super nice rooms. Plus the food is great What else do you need?

An excellent hotel in Lhasa. Located close to major site seeing spots around the city but still quiet and secluded enough for a relaxing stay (the hotel area is huge for Tibet!). Was welcomed with traditional ******* decor with efficient and pleasant service from all hotel staff. The room is big, clean and equipped with a humidifier, oxygen concentrator and a Dyson hairdryer. The breakfast buffet was pleasant with a small-sized a la carte dish for all guests to order from a menu. Food was decent with a mix of western, Chinese and Tibetian options

We enjoyed the breakfast the most. The layout of the hotel is a bit confusing without proper direction signage. The service by the receptionist and restaurant staff could have been better.

The service is the worst of all hotels where we have stayed worldwide. It is worse than even any 1-star rated hotel in China. Right from the entry, the check in is chaotic. No one attends to luggage. It takes 2 hours to do formalities and return passports. In Room dining, the order is a huge challenge. They take 2 hours to take order and deliver the food after 1 hour, when they serve only the food in a plate. No seperate dishes or any cutliaries (spoon or fork or chopsticks ... nothing provided). When you point these out, they say sorry and take another 1 hour to bring plates, chop sticks etc. BY now 5 hours passed and food is so cold and not eatable. This is a regular scenario ... repeated 3 times, I.e. everything we placed an order. It's a huge challenge. On amenities, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. If you just take a turn while sleeping, the other person is sure to wake up. They call king size bed .. it's two seperate beds kept side by side with cheap quality spring mattress. On breakfast, it's very limited and every day same menu. No varieties, the food taste is horrible as well. Extremely bad experience.for the price that is paid. The feeling has been a complete waste of money, sleepless nights, staying hugry and waiting for food post order for 5.hours every time we ordered room dining. The same situation in restaurent as well.

The best there is in Lhasa. Excellent location and the service is impeccable. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel upgraded our room, provided us with an extra bed, allowed us late check-out and provided smiling/prompt service. Overall a very good experience.

Very nice services

This is a very nice hotel with good view and equipped well. Sandy from the hotel was communicated from after my booking until I left, she is warm, helpful and she made me have an even better experience with the hotel

Old hotel with a run down room, mosquitoes and poor lighting. They agreed to change the room however that was too much hassle for me, to move my stuff. Other rooms had a nesprssso coffee machine, but I was refused because of no reason (I booked premium deluxe) . I was told just sorry and sorry but no flexibility. Just bad inflexible place to be
