We (a group of nine including three young children) had a very nice week long stay at the Domino hotel, Jesolo (15 – 22 August 2023). We have visited Jesolo a number of times and we would highly recommend this hotel for families. The hotel has a number of things that we liked. First, all of the hotel was very clean and tidy. Within our group we had a family suite, an ‘Executive’ double room and two ‘normal doubles - we were pleased with all of them. All of our rooms had a kitchenette area and a safe - the key was available for free at reception. Second, all of the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good - the usual meats and cheeses with a large selection of croissants and cakes - which the kids especially liked. The breakfast area doubled up as a nice bar area during the day. One of the man reasons that we chose the Domino was that, compared to many hotels in Jesolo, the pool is quite large with loads of space for sunbeds. We noticed that, even if a group of four came down to the pool area mid afternoon, they could usually get four sunbeds together. The hotel is set one street back from the main ***** with loads of reasonably priced restaurants and bars close by. On that note we’d highly recommend ‘La Tavernetta’ (Via Silvio Trentin, 75) on the main drag. It’s very small so make sure you either get there really early or make a booking to be assured of a table. On the whole we’d thoroughly recommend this hotel for families. If we were staying as a couple then we might consider staying on the other side of Piazza Giuseppe Mazzini as the restaurants/bars are just that bit smarter along that part of the resort. That said, you could easily stay here and then just stroll along to that part of the *****.
