Hotel Alexander

Comfortable hotel in great location with fantastic view of Lake Garda. Town of Limone only a saunter beside the lake, to beautiful little streets, shops and many restaurants. Very friendly and efficient staff. Nice food. I hope to visit again soon.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Firstly, the lobby and restaurant is super clean and beautiful. The bedroom was very spacious, with lots of seating and big beds. The beds were incredibly comfy, both me and partner had such good sleeps every night. The balcony we received was shared but we did not mind since the view was so incredible. Cleaners were respectful and efficient making the room always clean. The breakfast buffet was great and had every type of breakfast food from greasy, salad, confectionery, etc. me and my partner also has a day in the hotel spa which was so lovely with a heated jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, etc. the location of the hotel is next to the beach and so close to the town so we walked every where. Perfect experience. Only negative - the hotel room had a fridge and cooker but no cutlery, cooking utilities, etc.

A lovely Hotel with helpful courteous and friendly staff. Have just finished a visit to this hotel which overlooks Lake Garda. The view from our room was stunning . Hotel is clean and well equipped. Not a problem for us but no tea making facilities in the room but we compensated by having it in the foyer. The staff particularly Stephania and Guilia were a delight to meet. So helpful nothing was a problem. Likewise staff inn the morning for breakfast. Breakfast had a wide range on offer and you would not leave hungry. I can recommend this hotel without hesitation. The town of Limone is amazing with its facilities by the lake and its windy streets. Lots of lovely places to eat. We had a truly lovely time.

Positives Very pleasant staff Wonderful swimming pool Comfy bed Good air conditioning in room Evening entertainment , was varied.. singers/dancers/ drums. Negatives Not the best food and the bbq on saturdays was ok apart from undercooked chicken ! Shower in ensuite very moldy asked several times for it to be sorted but no improvement when done. Sea view not good, view was behind a rusting fence. Bedroom needed a total revamp, worn,tired furniture. Toilet paper stuffed in the holes in the door to stop mosquitoes!!!

The staff at the Alexander hotel in Limone Sul Garda made our week's stay a truly 5 star experience. They are friendly, helpful and responsive; this includes housekeeping, dining, kitchen and reception personnel. The bedroom accommodation while slightly dated, is comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast menus cater for all tastes; the buffets are generous presentations of cold salads, yogurts, fruits, meats and cheeses; hot 'Irish/English' breakfasts; cereals, excellent breads and tasty pastries. Dinner menus are similarly generous with an extensive starter buffet, primo and secundo plati as well as mouth-watering desserts. Hotel Alexander is within a 3 minute walk of a beach, about 8-10 minutes from the town and adjacent to well-designed local walks including the spectacular Torrente San Giovanni. Overall, a wonderful week in a stunning location in a lovely hotel.

Such a lovely hotel at such a good price! Beautiful views of the mountains and right near the beach too. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had no trouble at all. At check in, the lady at the front desk told us she could get us booked on excursions to Venice/Verona etc so that’s helpful for anyone who wishes to do day trips. The breakfast was varied and cakes galore! The dinner was 20 euros which is a bargain considering you get 3 courses and a buffet salad bar. The team in the restaurant were very polite and accommodating. Rooms are basic but cleaned every day with lots of space and storage. The spa was nice and relaxing although a couple of the buttons in the hot tub didn’t work and the steam room didn’t get very steamy but we loved the sauna. The lockers and water/fruit was a nice touch. If you want luxury then this isn’t the hotel for you as it is more of a traditional hotel. But many hotels in Limone have a similar dated look. Everything you need is here and the price is so good for what you get. Thank you for making our holiday so wonderful :)

Hotel Alexander is a very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms overlooking Lake Garda. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and attentive to holiday makers' needs. The location on the Lake provides fabulous views and the pool area and terraces are wonderful for relaxing. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is a ideal base for exploring the area. The staff and room was excellent. The pool was just OK as it was a raised pool. The breakfast were very good but I think tea and coffee could be served at the table. The evening meals were quite ordinary and after three days we decided to forgo our meal and eat in the town for a nicer experience. Overall it is a vey good hotel. Once again the staff were excellent
