I love Hampton Inns and usually choose them first for my stays, which is why I was disappointed when the TV in my room didn’t work, and the person on duty couldn’t fix it. I had completely unpacked and placed my items all around, but when He offered to let me try a mini-suite I accepted. It was late, and I was tired, but I took the new key cards, and proceeded to gather all of my stuff, and pack them. But, when I got to the door of the new room, the cards didn’t work. I had spent 45 minutes trying to resolve this issue, and had had enough, so took the keys back to the desk, and told him I was going to stay in my original room without TV. When I went to bed, the heater fan went on, loudly, and ran for about 10 minutes, and then went off. I started to fall asleep finally, but it came back on, waking me up. I named the room “the torture room”, when texting my friends. I will try Hampton Inn again, but may test these features when I get to my room. The morning manager begrudgingly agreed to credit me $50 my stay, which I appreciated.
