Красивый эко-домик в горах. Идеально подходит для отдыха на несколько дней вдали от города или преодоления смены часовых поясов, но также возможен поход в горы. Владелец был отличным хозяином, услужливым и хранителем знаний о Лаосе. Меню местное и включает веганские блюда. Бассейн и большая территория в течение всего дня ошеломляют. Любой, кто впервые посещает Луангпрабанг, должен провести здесь ночь или две, а также ночь в центре старого города.

Amazing location and there is actually quite a lot to do here. Just down the road is a nature park with cooking classes, zip lines, etc. And you have a choice of hikes starting at the property as well as the sauna (like a herbal steam room), pool, horse riding for kids, etc. Need to take the shuttle or a taxi up and it's a good distance out of town but the natural location is just spectacular (and a bit cooler than the city). The bungalows are in a garden setting with mountains just behind, the occasional water buffalo on the road, a couple cute dogs. Food is amazing with a vegan menu if you swing that way, local and western fare as well. Awesome attentive staff and a helpful industries owner. Highly recommended retreat.

Greeted by a very hospitable, friendly and caring team! Breath taking view of the mountains, delicious food! This lodge is really a must for nature lovers. About 15-20mins walk to Nam Dong Park. Please do read up more about the lodge before booking! I had a wonderful experience here!

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. It was a shame it was too cold to swim there is a nice pool. But they do have a steam bath. The food is good, the service is fine. The mountain road leading to the resort is not good and very bumpy, our taxi driver wanted to abandon us because he refused to go further. Luckily the staff sent their driver to pick us for a fee. There is not much to do around once u are up there. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, but with our 3 year old, 2 days was enough for us.

Мы влюбились в это место, настоящую гавань спокойствия, которую мы обнаруживаем в конце грунтовой дороги посреди джунглей: смена обстановки гарантирована! Номера очень красивые и нетипичные, с большим эркером и террасой с невероятным видом! Блюда, предлагаемые в ресторане, разнообразные и вкусные, завтрак невероятный. Отель предлагает трансфер два раза в день, что очень удобно. Большое спасибо менеджеру заведения, мы действительно почувствовали себя как дома в дружелюбной и экологически чистой атмосфере. Он дает очень хорошие советы. Он действительно заботится о своих клиентах, и было очень приятно пообщаться с ним вечером. Рекомендую с закрытыми глазами ☺️

Цена довольно высокая по сравнению с предложением отеля недалеко от Луангпрабанга, и мы были разочарованы предложением этого отеля. Отель изолирован в горах, добраться до отеля на транспорте из города сложно, тем более, что приходится ехать несколько километров по грунтовой дороге. Отель предлагает два транспорта в день до города по цене 4 доллара на человека (25–30 минут). Ресторан отеля хороший, но цены примерно в два раза выше городских, однако другого варианта питания рядом с отелем нет.

Совершенно чудесное и чудесное место! Хозяева очень приятные, природа потрясающая, номера красивые! Здесь спокойно и идеально для спокойного отдыха, тихая обстановка и нежная атмосфера! Приедете ли вы один, или с друзьями, семьей или вдвоем, вы сразу почувствуете себя как дома. Настоятельно рекомендуется!

Loved: The food and views were excellent. The staff was extremely helpful in sharing information on the National Park and various activities we could do during our stay. There are games and books to borrow in the main house. We loved the "serve yourself" water bottles and tea. It is an excellent place to go and be as active as you wish or as calm as you need. There are no shops or restaurants, so it is what you make of it. Didn't love: The beds were very, very hard, so be prepared for that. We were pretty sore after two nights. Also, I am an animal lover, and while the animals at the property seem well cared for, I noticed the sweet ponies were left on their own a lot and were wanting attention. One of the two dogs has a sore leg that nobody seemed to be addressing. I hope it is soon cared for.

We enjoyed a wonderful 5-night retreat here during the Chinese New Year holiday as a family of three. The nature and sustainability concept is done really well here. Our boy loved the freedom of being able to roam around the property and interact with all the nature, staff, and other guests. I don't think I saw him wearing shoes during our entire stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and responsive. The food was well done and inexpensive. I took advantage of one of their pre-planned hiking routes for the day and had a great time doing so. The staff were also really great in helping us book day trips to local attractions, and we took advantage of the shuttle bus service into town on a couple of occasions. The bungalow we had was clean and comfortable enough with plenty of space. I found the beds to be a little too firm but that was just me. The Hillside Lodge is very open about what it is, and what it offers, but it is very important that you don't go into a stay with this place blind. The property is located a drive away from Luang Prabang proper and although there is a very good shuttle bus service, the timings of the service mean that you won't be able to rely on it for an evening in Luang Prabang and it will be extremely difficult to find a taxi service to take you back at night time. We understood this and were happy to spend our evening at the lodge where we enjoyed a BBQ and a sit around the fire pit one evening and a chance to relax with books and board games. We also relied on Hillside for breakfast and evening meals. Again this worked very well for us and after a busy day exploring the local area we were happy to relax in the evening. On our last night in Luang Prabang, we did move into a hotel located centrally in town, this was just so we could have one later evening in the town enjoying the night marketing and evening meal there, and was no reflection on Hillside and what it has to offer. Overall we really enjoyed the place and part of that enjoyment came from being a bit tucked out of the way for a few days away from the hustle and bustle.

Alun and Kan received us very well!!! For me, here it's a piece of paradise, very clean, peaceful... You can relax close to the swimming pool, quality of food is excellent! The staff is very friendly:) The best, is you are close to different hikes of 1, 2, 3, 5 hours, starting from the resort. Only ask Kan for tips. (Try Wikiloc app)

Beautiful nature, very nice r4sort with a lovely swimming pool. Very helpful and friendly staff. I have been here several times and every time enjoy it as a great retreat from life in the city. And there are a lot of hiking areas whenever I want to get even closer to nature.
