Eclat Suites Mint Gomti Nagar

I stayed for a night at Eclat Suites, Gomtinagar, Lucknow (Room 304) with my wife and daughter. Given the price point, I found the property not up to the mark and overall experience as very average bordering on poor. Reasons for that: • Room was windowless and claustrophobic • Property looked dated and out of maintenance • There were no tea-bags. When asked for them, an attendant came with the tea bags in his bare hands and without any tray/plate • At around 10 PM, disturbed by very loud sound. Was told that the pump was running. This continued for 30 min. Later in the night was kept awake by various sounds. Was told about some construction going on • Bathroom had another door which was locked. This appeared as a bit creepy • No separate dining area. Was served breakfast with plates covered in silver foils on a tray but not served with any paper napkins • None of the Television channels were working and the message was that the subscription had to be recharged • Attendants did not have any uniform. This came across as unprofessional
