Posada Borravino

Posada Borravino was an excellent boutique hotel. The hotel is located in Chacras de Coria in the Lujan de Cuyo region and was a pleasant 1 mile walk from the small downtown area with restaurants and bars. The hotel's breakfast is traditional (pastries, hams, and made-to-order scrambled eggs) and tasty. The hotel serves dinner from a limited menu by request, and the food is a bit rustic and extremely tasty. The wine list is similarly more rustic but with excellent local wines, approximately $8-15 per bottle USD. The hotel has a lovely quiet grassy patio area with a pool which was pleasant to enjoy a bottle of wine and read. The rooms and showers are larger than many other properties in Latin America I've traveled to, though nothing fancy. Most importantly, the hotel proprietors and workers are friendly, helpful, and very good cooks! The room was always cleaned to perfection and a bottle of wine or a snack could always be found. Keep in mind that the workers speak very limited English. We got by just fine with our limited Spanish and the occasional help from Google Translate. We will stay here again if we return to visit Mendoza! 100% recommend!

My wife and I stayed at Posada Borravino in March 2023 while visiting Mendoza. Its a one-story facility, with about 12 units, located in a quiet residential neighborhood south of Chacras de Coria. We enjoyed the rustic atmosphere of a traditional inn. The staff were very attentive and helpful during our visit, arranging for laundry, bike rentals and restaurant reservations. The building is organized around a beautiful garden and small swimming pool, which opens from the combo dining room and sitting room! The garden area also has and area set aside for a traditional asado meal preparation and outdoor dining. Our room opened to the outdoor terrace and garden. It was a bit small with limited furnishings, as was the bathroom. But it was also adjacent to the sitting room and garden, so did not feel cramped. The only negative was two nights where a large group was using the asado prep and dining area late (for us) into the night, making it hard to sleep. Other rooms would have been quieter. Breakfasts were very good with a varieties of fresh fruit and pastries. The staff was also available for dinners if reserved. However, one afternoon we did not return as soon as expected, yet even with the primary chef out, they volunteered to prepare us a delightful dinner of salad and empanadas!! We recommend Posada Borravino for a quiet stay in Mendoza!

Mi experiencia fue buena en el hospedaje, lindo el entorno el jardín, pileta es chica pero por lo general no hay mucha gente sirve para refresc****, la habitación que nos tocó fue muy cómoda éramos tres nos tocó una habitación con tres camas, más una cama matrimonial en otro habitación a parte, fue excelente que ya que íbamos con mi papá, el desayuno, normal frutas , jugo no natural , yogurt cereales, pan para hacer tostadas, mermelada y queso, huevo revueltos, café riquísimo. Leche fría , caliente no hay la deben pedir pero la traen con mucha espuma. Hay budín , medialunas que no son las mejores, y galletitas secas . La limpieza aceptable. Todo el personal muy amable. Salvo el dueño que no dice ni buenos días si uno no lo dice. Lo único incómodo es que se debe tocar el timbre cada vez que uno sale o entra a pie o con el auto. Creo que se puede solucionar dando a comodato un control remoto. Tienen Restaurant que se debe avisar antes que se va a cenar ahí, no puedo evaluar la comida porque no eh cenado . Lo que sí se pueden pedir licuados, café etc en la tarde mientras uno toma sol o disfruta de la pileta. Hay toallas de pileta . Volvería a hospedar en el lugar.

Posada Borravino is een oase van rust in een rustige wijk van Mendoza ( Chacras). Wij gebruikten het als een uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen en om een bodega te bezoeken. Het personeel en de eigenaar/ manager zijn bijzonder behulpzaam. Er is een standaard Argentijns ontbijt waar je ook eieren bij kunt bestellen. De grote kracht is echter de service en de binnentuin met zwembad (wel wat fris), waar je heerlijke en meer dan betaalbare wijnen kunt drinken. De kamers zijn voldoende, zeer schoon, maar er is zoveel te doen dat je daar alleen komt om te slapen… Geen avondeten behoudens empanadas en een pizza maar in de buurt, ook op loopafstand zijn voldoende opties. Een zekere aanrader!

Posada pequeña, con atención súper cordial de parte de sus colaboradores. Realmente atentos a cada detalle. Nos sentimos súper bien las 6 noches que estuvimos. Piezas con radiador y decoradas rústicamente. Camas muy cómodas. Zona silenciosa ideal para el descanso. Nos encantó ir con nuestros hijos a un lugar así en lugar de un gran hotel, se siente más familiar y seguro, los chicos jugaban en el patio❤️. Desayuno pequeño y tipo buffet. Puntos a mejorar: -El agua de la ducha no sale con mucha potencia - variedad en el desayuno y disponibilidad de frutas (a veces se acababan)

Nos encantó el lugar, super tranquilo, camas cómodos, sábanas suaves, la atención. Muy limpio . Estuvimos en una habitación familiar y estuvimos muy cómodos siendo 4, tiene un gran baño .Rico desayuno. No hay nada negativo en nuestra experiencia! Volveremos!! Muchas gracias Andrés!!

Excelente ubicación, atención muy amable, tranquila, agradable. Andrés, muy atento y cordial, así como todos los integrantes. Fuimos en familia. Muy recomendable para visitar en búsqueda de relax y tranquilidad.
