Urban Residences Maastricht

Nice, basic, big hotel. Clean, small rooms. As most hotels, they charge a deposit on check-in. But they never returned it. And when I made a reclamation and asked about it, they never answered my e-mails. So follow-up on your deposit returns.

We love this place! This was our second stay at the Urban Residences and, yet again, it was flawless. The staff are always so welcoming and our room was plush, well-appointed and gave us all the features we needed. There's a hob for cooking, an oven, Nespresso, washing machine, tumble dryer.... all quality items which worked perfectly. The location is right opposite the Vrijthof Square and is absolutely perfect in terms of exploring Maastricht (one of our favourite cities anywhere). There's a great supermarket a 2 minute walk away, the train station is a 8-10 minute walk from the hotel, and the whole of Maastricht is on your doorstep. This is a highly highly recommended place to stay.

Me, my wife and little boy left he Urban Residences yesterday and were amazed by the place. Firstly, the place is just quality. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen appliances are top end, and the space in our apartment was fantastic. In terms of the kitchen, we had a toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, fridge, electric hob & oven, washing machine, iron, ironing board and tumble dryer. The air con also worked really well too. The location is out of this world. It's literally on the Vrijthof Square (we love Maastricht and went there for the Andre Rieu concerts also) and everything you need is nearby. There are a vast number of eateries within minutes of the building, loads of cafes, the shopping streets are very close-by and you can walk tot he station in 10-15 minutes. The staff are wonderfully friendly, chatty and so helpful too and we cannot wait to book up for the Urban Residences in Maasricht again next year (or maybe sooner, given the chance). Brilliant.

Hello, Myself Chandrakant B Kambli and I came here from India. I have been staying in the Urban residences (Maastricht) since October-21. It's been more than 7 months. The entire Urban Residences team is fabulous. Special thanks to following people: Office Managers: Birgit / Brigitte Office assistant: Bram / Niels / Nadim Room Servicing: Serenity (No need to tell her anything, she does her job perfectly). They all made my stay comfortable here. If I had any problem they were always there to assist. Even if you call them after office hours they are ready to assist. I feel like I am in my home country. About Rooms: The room has everything in it (Kitchen with all the required utensils, Oven, Refrigerator, Dish Washer, Washing machine, Iron & Iron table, Hair dryer, TV with Chromecast facility). You can get 2 TVs (one in Living room and one in the bedroom). There is a heater facility available in the room. Every room has a good view and windows are also quite big so there is enough sunlight and air ventilation in the room. Actually it's not a hotel, it's a perfect apartment. The apartment is suitable for 4 people. They have bicycle facilities also. The Urban Residences is located in the Maastricht Central (a well known shopping destination in the south of Netherlands). We had 2 apartments for our party of 7 and everything was great. The apartments are large and very clean. The showers were hot and the washer and dryer worked perfectly. The kitchen came with everything you need to cook a meal. The location is perfect for exploring Maastricht and you can use their bikes to get around. They also have games and cards you can use. The employees are very friendly and so accomodating. Our train kept getting cancelled so they met my daughter in the evening after hours and gave her the keys. Thank you for a wonderful time in the beautiful city of Maastricht!

We booked a week stay so that my elderly father in law could visit his family for potentially the last time. When the Netherlands went in to Covid lockdown we reached out to the hotel to request a booking change which we were originally told was allowed with at least 24 hr notice. We did not ask for a refund… just that we be able to come at a later date once the restrictions were lifted. We were told no and they kept our $7,000. Frankly what they have done is criminal and I wish someone could do something but my hands are tied and my money is gone. By leaving this I hope at least someone else wont get screwed by these crooks.
