Faranda Collection Bogota, a Member of Radisson Individuals

Great service from Checking to check out. I like the location next to park with no traffic and able to relax. The room and bathroom are spotless. Excellent breakfast with fresh squeezed juices and many different dishes. Oscar at the restaurant was very helpful and kind. I hope the hotel can add English channels.

The hotel is very dated despite a modern facia. The suite was nice but with no USB points, a kitchen with no cutlery, bottle opener or corkscrew,. No replacement coffee provided despite requesting at reception a tv that was outdated with no option to screenshot or even connect via Bluetooth to enable own devices for movies or music, it's not up there with even some budget hotels. I use radison a lot and this is definitely not their normal standard. On checking in we were made to wait 3 hours with no real explanation of a delay. The Spa was good but again the facilities post spa such as showers and changing areas are poor. The saving grace was Eddison the waiter at breakfast. His service was excellent, he is polite, well mannered and helpful and an asset to this hotel.

The restaurant room is very cold and the bedrooms also too. It doesn’t have a good system to warm it up. The weather in the evening in Bogotá is quite cool ( 9 degrees) during the day is 19/20 degrees. The zone around the hotel is perfect , near by to restaurants ,public transport , shops , shopping center etc. Safe area. Nice location.

I stayed in the hotel for 5 days and it was terrible. We can hear everything from the next room, people put music really loud and we want to call the reception to silence them and it was not possible because NO ONE ANSWER THE PHONE!! We called thousand of times and never answer.

Rooms are large and well appointed. The staff is courteous overall. The experience could have been better: 1. At arrival, the staff wanted us to wait to check in while they took care of the Íbera crew who had arrived after us. Customers should be served in the order they arrive. Very rude and unprofessional. 2. Breakfast was mediocre. They do not serve soy or almond milk, despite being readily available in Bogotá. We had to go buy a bottle and carry it to breakfast, which was inconvenient. The hotel should provide a milk alternative. There was also too few staff for breakfast and often we had to wait for coffee refill and fruit to be available since there was only one waitress to cover breakfast. She was nice but at least another person should be available. 3. We reserved a premium room with two beds and were given in haste, to get rid of us so they could take care of the Iberia crew, a room with one bed. When we came back to get this fixed, the receptionist gave us a horrible connecting room with no blackout curtains and super noisy, room 311. At this point, it was late and we were exhausted so we waited for next morning to get another room. They eventually, through much insistence our part, assigned us the room we had originally paid for. No excuse, no upgrade, nothing, just a blank stare from the manager, she could not care about the issue we brought up. 4. Location: This is a residential area, which makes it hard to get in and out by car due to the street configuration. The hotel is across a canal that stinks so walking along or opening a window, not an option. The furnishings and decorations are very nice and elegant and the views from the terrace are nice. The clientele is quiet and well behaved. The cleaning staff is fantastic, the room was impeccably cleaned every day.

This is a great option in the north side of Bogota. The rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the hotel is situated in a quiet area. I would recommend it and will probably stay here again upon our next visit to Bogota. I will add that the rooms are clean and that the beds are very comfortable. Thanks Faranda for a nice experience.
