Close to the border, you can walk to the checkpoint as well as restaurants and shop on and around the main street. Very friendly and helpful staff/owner. Lovely place!

This is a small family-run boutique hotel in a great neighborhood, near the main city market, the Skywalk and the busy Myanmar border crossing. The room was large and comfortable and the service was outstanding. Excellent breakfast too… the owner collects coffees from his many travels and brews them in small batches in the morning… superb! He is also a master woodworker and painter and sells some of his items in the breakfast room. We bought several. Overall, we found this to be an excellent place to stay and will come back on our next trip to Mae Sai.

Close to food, the Myanmar bridge. The owner speaks Chinese and English and he's very helpful. The owner is local and he shares all the local places of interest. He does private tours which is really worth doing.
