Hotel Splendid Sole

Enjoyed our stay, the staff very helpful and the hotel was clean and up to date. We got an upgraded room with asking. Food and drink available on site as well as local restaurants. Good parking and facilities.

This hotel was nothing like the pictures:(. The food was inedible and Definitely not good for the sole. Couldn’t even use the pool. Also a million miles from everywhere. The room was also very not spacious. I certainly would not reccomend to a friend and I will not be returning THATS for sure!!!

We stayed 5 nights here in early July as part of a coach party and to be honest was a little bit apprehensive -based on some earlier reviews. Well, we were more than satisfied !! We had a huge bedroom with plenty of storage space, a separate large kitchen with kettle and fridge, bathroom with shower and a large double balcony spreading across both the bedroom and kitchen. From the balcony we could glimpse Lake Garda -it was on the corner of the hotel, but, quiet enough. There is air conditioning which was much appreciated when we were there !It was on an upper floor, but, there is a lift. Breakfast was very impressive except for the fiddly little teacups with oddly designed handles-but, really I'm nit picking there ! Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choice-both hot and cold-sets you up for the day. As we were part of a tour group we had to choose our evening meal in the morning. The choice again was absolutely fine-the food was really good and tasty and the service was great. Evening meal was a buffet starter followed by pasta then a meat/fish dish with vegetables followed by a small dessert-often a cake. I think vegetarians were well catered for . Alcohol was available for purchase and added to your Room number. Plenty of seating around the hotel and the pool is lovely-when we had time to use it. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel and the area is so beautiful ! We went with an Edwards Coach trip and had a wonderful time-so much to see in the area. Every member of staff was unfailingly friendly and polite and all worked hard to ensure everything went smoothly -a splendid hotel !

Fantastic food , great and friendly service . Nice rooms , bar and restaurant . Lovely pool area. All the personnel seem to have the same attitude towards the guests really impressive . Top marks to all of you . Best service ever in Italy I of course can highly recommend Hotel Splendid Sole

nice modern clean hotel, situated in a small village with 3-5 shops not always open, only 1 night of entertainment which wasnt that good, food is attrocious, 2 choices of evening meal to be ordered at breakfast, tiramasu 3 times out of 6 for desert, very weird concoctions of food, wont be going back

If you are travelling as a group avoid this hotel at all costs - you will be treated like second class citizens. While the rooms & beds are clean & comfortable things like towels s, tea/coffee etc are often not fully replenished. Groups are seated at long tables for meals - not a problem IF waiters were better trained. Plates whipped away even while still eating. Cannot get a pot to brew tea at breakfast although they are available “Pots are NOT for groups!” One of the waiters was willing to provide a pot but it was wrestled out of his hands by another! Generally waiters were rude and unhelpful. Setting one’s account on leaving was a farce. Every item on each persons bill was read out in front of everyone else waiting to pay - absolutely disgusting. It takes little effort to print a bill & ask the guest to check it. Apparently the poor receptionist ( who’s really lovely) has been told to read all items aloud had been told to do this by the Hotel Director. Wake up Director - you claim Hotel Splendid SoLe is a four stay hotel - then run it like one. Don’t embarrass guests and make your waiters and chambermaids do their jobs properly. Don’t treat groups of guests inferiority - from me number of groups you appear to take the ensure you a good income. If you don’t like groups the stop taking group bookings.

Sadly we didnt stay at the hotel but would definitely do so in the future. We wanted to hire e bikes. Raphael was so very helpful and soon got us sorted. We booked in for the grill evening that took place on the lawn in the evening. This was fabulous, the setting was close to the pool and very calm and relaxing.. The staff are exceptionally friendly and pleasant. Special mention also to Luca and David..thank you for making us so welcome. Hope to be back soon. The Chapmans xx

Lovely spot above the lake. Nice bars nearby. Quite a long way to the waterfront (not the ten minutes that the reception staff will tell you). Nice relaxing pool. All very nice

the hotel is a few minutes away from the lake but in a nice little village. the staff of the hotel are most multi lingual e.g. German, English of course Italian. All are very hellpful and kind, especially to mention Luca the barkeeper. The outdorr pool is really super and really big I guess about 30m but the indoorpool is also nice with the jacuzzi. they have a small sauna too. we also enoyed a good breakfast.
