Flawless execution, beautiful gardens, pool and beach. February is not the best time to visit, but you can spend a dreamy day at the spa. Thalassotherapy is divine. The service is warm and friendly. Go to the smiling concierge for the 'locals tapas list'! Do get pizzas from El Patio. The grill is sublime, and you can pop into the bar next door, but I'd recommend reservations as it fills up quickly. Patricia at the golf desk is helpful and knowledgeable.

Where to start. The hotel is steeped in history but unlike many luxury hotels this one does not trade on its past glories . Rather it reflects its past and incorporates those values into its up to date hospitality and services. From its immaculate physical presentation to the thoroughly professional staff. It is hard to fault this hotel in any aspect of its operation. Everyone is treated like a returning friend and nothing is too difficult to do, fix or help with. I could go on but hopefully I have given a very quick reflection of our stay. Thank you Marbella Club for some great memories.

Probably one of the nicest hotels in the world!!! The decor is absolutely beautiful. As someone who loves interior design I found it stunning! The grounds are exceptional, a garden oasis! Then there’s the pool and beach, both beautiful. I could stay there forever!

Exceptional. Food, interior design, staff, bedrooms, gardens, kids club, bathrooms, location and general atmosphere. We will be back for sure. El Patio was perfect for a relaxed dinner with kids. Staff did their best to accommodate us in a genuine and relaxed manner.

Every year, the Marbella club is our go-to place to enjoy the hotel and restaurants, especially El Patio and the Beach Club and on 1st of January for the lunch/brunch by the seaside This time we did not stay at the hotel but visited the restaurants and facilities at least 6-8 times during December and January. Its food quality, ambience and service at its best. The hairstylist and spa there is amazing and thanks to Pedro! Whenever we are in Marbella, we will sure to go for a cut and treatments there. We continue to return to the Marbella Club because the staff and amenities are second to none. Guest Relations (Guillermo, Raul, and Samuel), Juan and John at the front desk, Antonio and Cala with Concierge, Ivan with the unforgettable dining experience, and the fantastic housekeeping staff provide unprecedented service in a beautiful setting. Additionally, the views are beautiful, the food is delicious, the breakfast is amazing, and you can dance the night away at Rudi’s! Thank you for another amazing visit!

Great location, great food and very unique place. A few things to note: -there are A LOT of small children. Be prepared for lots of crying kids and screaming children in the pool. -the service at the restaurants can be inconsistent. You leave sometimes feeling like the service didn’t justify the cost. -the golf course buggies are mainly gas-powered and spew unhealthy fumes during the whole round. They really need to replace these if they’re going to have a good golf experience. Overall, I’m 50/50 if it’s worth the price.

Just came back from the Marbella Club, we went with our 2 young daughters, was an excellent stay, could have been perfect but 1-2 unusual things (mainly the kids club) bothered us. Overall its a superb hotel, with fantastic landscaping & staff, and we will go back. The +++: - The design of the hotel: a mix of botanic garden + boh & chic (in a nice way). Everything looks perfect, feels natural and peaceful. You feel almost at home - The room: we were in 273, with an adorable mini garden and mini bed outside for the kids, picture perfect, spacious calm, nice bathroom - The staff: nice, smiling, professional - The pools: tiny but perfect for this hotel, kids and adults had a lot of fun - The tennis club: 10 mins walk but super stadium and set up The ++ - Food: Quality of breakfast is amazing, and the Grill is really good. But the 'on site' options are really limited. We ended up going 5 nights out of 7 to their sister hotel Punte Romano where the range of high end restaurants on offer was amazing (Coya, Nobu, Sea Grill, Cipriani...) -Gym: really tiny, more focused on light fitness than a true gym, but is opened 24h/day and has great views on nature -Wellness: Super ideas, but sometimes absurd prices The --: -The kids club: What a wasted opportunity. We have been to maybe 25 hotels with kids clubs and this one is probably the nicest (and largest in proportion to the size of the hotel) that we have ever seen. It looks like a super cool eco-school. But...its also the only kids club where guests have to pay for every minute the chlidren spend in the club, and the pricing is just ridiculous. Leaving our 2 daughters for a half day (3 hours) was 130 Euros. And its impossible to just drop the kids and let them play. As a result very few guests put their kids in the kids club, it feels empty. In hotels where you spend 2000E/night on the room why on earth would you then ask to pay extra for the kids club? Its the only hotel where we saw this, and there is a reason why no other luxury hotel has this system. They need to change this policy, makes no sense.
