Next to Marlow bridge. Large modern and popular pub. Lacked a bit of atmosphere mainly due to size

Sunday lunch yesterday. Had to wait 50 minutes before our lunch arrived. The beef roast dinner was poor for the price. Full of fat. Not impressed.

Great place to stay, lovely comfortable rooms, food & service very good, would definitely recommend.

First time for lunch, with our small dog. Excellent service from enthusiastic staff. The food was the best we have had on the High Street. You can't ask for more

Everything was excellent from decor to furnishing to lovely staff culminating in an awesome breakfast.

We booked a table for 13 people for 6pm on bank holiday Sunday only to be told on arrival that there were no roasts dinners available. We were given another menu and then told that there were no pies left and only 2 steaks. This made the choice very limited. Surely running out of roast dinners by 6pm is not acceptable. On booking maybe we shoukd have been asked to pre-book a roast??? We had to wait ages for both food and drinks. (the waiters were very nice) There is obviously a problem with the management on ordering food and having enough staff.

Lovely venue, opposite the park entrance at the bottom of the high street so perfect location. Our room was spacious and spotless. Would highly recommend. Only downside is the parking area outside the pub/hotel is restricted until 6pm through to 8.30am. This means in theory you could park at 4pm and then remove the car at 8.30am but we were advised to park in the Pound Lane car park (short walk away) and we chose to do so.

I cannot fault this hotel, everything about it, is a touch of class. The minute you walk through the door. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The rooms are so gorgeous! Immaculate condition and great quality. The bar and outside area is lovely. We will be back! The only regret is we didn’t eat in the hotel also. Great place.

What a fabulous location! The George and Dragon is a stone’s throw from the river and right in Marlow’s high street, making it the perfect base for exploring the town. The hotel has a lovely boutique feel, with fresh, stylish décor and beautifully decorated rooms. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. We stayed for one night with friends to celebrate my birthday and were very kindly upgraded to a lovely room — such a thoughtful treat! We also had a welcome card and delicious petit fours waiting for us in the room, which was a really lovely personal touch. We enjoyed drinks during happy hour in the courtyard between 5–7pm, which was a beautiful setting to relax with a drink. There was also live music, which added to the atmosphere and made it feel extra special. We had dinner at Tom Kerridge’s restaurant, The Coach, which was around a 10-minute walk from the hotel — another reason why the location is so convenient. Breakfast the following morning was delicious, with plenty of choice. We chose to include breakfast when booking and were really pleased we did. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Great location, beautiful rooms, lovely staff and some really thoughtful touches that made our birthday celebration feel special. Great price too! We would definitely stay here again when visiting Marlow.
