Be Live Experience Marrakech Palmeraie - All Inclusive

This is a great hotel to stay at. The rooms and facilities are very clean and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. I loved staying here and will definitely be returning. The staff Smiley and Pitcho made it a really fun place to be. There was a variety of traditional and international food to choose from. The hotel is away from the Medina but there is everything you need here and a regular shuttle service to and from the Medina.

Quarto agradável. Comida com qualidade e variedade, superior a alguns outros tudo incluído. Bebidas boas às refeições, cocktails fracos, quase sem álcool. Animadores atenciosos, com bastantes atividades durante o dia, mas animação fraca à noite.

The hotel was nice, but there are a few issues. Cleanliness in public areas and especially around the bar area is not good. Flies are a huge problem, and staff were observed swatting flies with a cloth and then cleaning surfaces with the same cloth. Food quality was mixed and samey and unfortunately caused me an upset stomach. Having spoken to several other guests, they complained of the same. The staff are superb and give a very personal service, especially in the dining room and bar area. Special mention to Salah, who is the backbone of this hotel. Also to Asharif, Omar, Abdell, Abdeali, Ahmed, and the smiling chef called Arram. These guys work hard and make this hotel what it is. The entertainment team was friendly, engaging, and put on a show every night. They could do with having live bands come to the hotel like they do in their neighbouring hotel. My room was beautiful and serviced daily to a high standard. I found reception staff to be overwhelmed and fairly swamped when it came to dealing with enquiries. I had to ask reception staff several times for the same thing to be done and found that quite frustrating. I used the laundry service, and despite asking reception 3 times for the laundry to be uplifted, it still remained in my room. When it was eventually uplifted (4pm), it was not delivered for another 2 days, and this was after i chased them up as I was leaving the next day. There wasn't even an apology or a refund. One thing I noticed was the number of poolside lights not working at night as you walk past to return to your room. I counted seven lights not functioning, and with the wet poolside, I found it quite dangerous due to poor lighting. The hotel provided a courtesy bus into Marrakech, and this was excellent.

Very friendly with super attentive staff. We would really recommend this hotel as a base to explore Marrakech and further. We had a duplex room which gave us all privacy and 2 bathrooms. The weather in January was just right. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to and from the city on regular intervals. It is always on time and reliable. The food is very good and thankfully concentrates on local flavours but there is also pizza, pasta and stuff if that’s your thing. Pool area is very clean, never had an issue with finding space with none of the stupid towel races I’ve seen Brits practice as everyone is respectful and thoughtful. Highly recommend this for a weeks stay. All of the staff are charming and we never heard a cross word. Having said that Ahmed, Fatima and Madiha worth a special mention for always smiling and being so lovely.

We just came back from a 1-week stay at the Be Live Hotel. It was a really nice stay in this low-season. Not too busy,nice weather. We traveled with 4 adults and 2 children. We had 1 suite and 1 standard room. Both rooms are very spacious. The rooms and the entire hotel are very clean! The swimming pool needs some renovation with the tiles and unfortunately, the kids pool was very cold. However, there are some areas in the large, heated pool where they could play. The animation team at the swimming pool are fun guys who want to make the best of your stay. As it was not so busy, there was no fixed programme but if you wanted to do anything, they were there to help! Then the food; this was really really good! Different buffet every day and of high quality. The staff was also very nice here. We had 1 dinner at the separate restaurant and that was a nice change with a delicious fondant chocolate cake. Each day, you can take the shuttle bus to and from the city. Just be aware that you need to book it at the latest the evening before. 2 negative points; - The staff at the reception is not flexible, not friendly and not helpful. We had to find out everything ourselves,they did not want to call the jardin majorelle for us with a question about accessibility,... we all experienced this unfortunately. - Kids club: I can understand that it is low season but there were still kids at the hotel. The responsible girl was not motivated and the only thing she did, was colouring or painting. They have such a nice area with tons of toys but she was 100% of the time on her phone... The same for the kids disco, she told all the parents that there was no disco as there were no kids. Of course, if you say that to all the parents, no one will come and she has a free evening. Our daughter only went 3 out of 7 evenings to the disco. The kids animation was the only frustrating thing about our stay so I hope they will improve this next year. BBesidesthese 2 points, I can only recommend this hotel. Especially the good food and nearby location of Marrakech-centre.

We visited here for 1 week early November and had a great time. I personally thought it was well worth the 4 star rating it has. Checking in Check in took a long time however this was because there was a new staff member who was training. Whilst waiting someone brought us all over a mojito mocktail arrival drink. One of the other guests who arrived at the same time as us started shouting at reception when she was told they required tourist tax and a deposit to be paid. The tourist tax is implemented by the government and not the hotel and the deposit was returned at the end of the stay, plus we paid by card and it was only £30. We were also all told that our rooms wouldn’t be ready for another 1.5 hours (3pm) but that there was a place for us to change and we could use the facilities right away which we didn’t have a problem with but the same couple again shouted at the reception staff. The reception staff handled this very well and stayed calm, despite being shouted at for something out of their control. Room We had booked a standard room but upon entering the room realised the hotel had upgraded our room which was a nice surprise. We were given a pool facing room that had a downstairs area and an upstairs area, 2 wardrobes, 2 bathrooms which one had a bath and one a shower so we were really happy with our room. It was very clean. Fresh towels were always provided and I couldn’t fault any of the facilities or cleanliness of the room. The only minor flaw was that towards the end of our stay we had a neighbour join the next room who would bang up and down the stairs ALL night and this kept waking us up. The maids were very polite and always said hello. One day we had booked to go ok the hotel shuttle for the evening to Marrakech and so went to the pool in the morning then wanted to come back and shower so kept the do not disturb sign on our door. We left at 4pm and when we came back it had still been cleaned despite it only being accessible late in the day which was great. Food There was a buffet which served breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Then there was a pool bar which had a snack bar and everything was fresh to order. Some lunch times they did a bbq outside and every day they would put out a little buffet by the pool of pastries, crepes, fruit and drinks. The pool bar food was really nice. The buffet food was fine, however much better if you went at the start of service where everything was put out fresh. Always plenty of options and we didn’t get ill even with eating salad and meats. We used the A La carte resteraunt and that was nice too. We didn’t like the starters and was served cold soup, but the mains of beef and tagine were delicious. There was plenty of drinks available, even mocktails. Entertainment There was entertainment all day and every night. In the day they did archery, football, kids club, aqua aerobics and more. At night they did karaoke, quiz night, a belly dancing show. Entertainment was always good and the staff

I'll start with what I thought was good about the hotel...its a short list. The food - whilst the options for children were fairly limited I've yet to go to a hotel where it isn't but in general the buffet options were good and flavoursome and the staff in the restaurant were amiable and helpful That's were the positives end: 1. Very poor facilities for children. The kids pools is freezing and the kids club is just lacking in all areas. Xmas/Halloween decorations still up, play kitchen with no play items, broken air hockey table. No activity schedule for children except for the 9PM disco every night which was sometimes facilitated by a screen and the same music pretty much every night. The music was aimed at younger children (baby shark and music man) but starts at 9pm. 2.No immediately recognisable life guards (we were told by Guest Relations that they are there) defeats the object if YOU CANNOT SEE THEM 3. Floors are mopped but often without any signage leading to one of the children in our party having a bad fall which received NO attention from any staff 4. Generally poor information and communication from the staff about what was on offer at the hotel, we missed an opportunity to dine at the a la carte because we simply did not know that it existed until I overheard another guest speaking about it. Upon discussing with Khadija (Guest Relations) we were invited via a phone call to attend a 7.30pm reservation on Saturday night. Which we accepted only to arrive at 7.30pm to be told that there was no reservation and in fact the reservation was for Tuesday. Which would have been useless because half of our party was leaving on theTuesday morning - as discussed with Khadija earlier in the afternoon. This experience was the final straw in a catalogue of bad experiences at the hotel. We attempted to get the hotel to to rectify some of these issues and were told that financial reimbursment was out of the question as we hadn't booked directly with the hotel but that we could get a free upgrade AND a airport transfer or late checkout. We didn't feel like this was adequate compensation and said that we would require all of the above only to be told that once we had reluctantly accepted the upgrade ( I only had two nights left of my 6 night holiday) all other offers would be retracted. My friends had to then fight for her late checkout as she was leaving late in the evening and eventually it was granted. All in all a very disappointing stay and we definitely would't return.

I’ve stayed in the adults only hotel across the road and had a lovely stay so came back with my family, we had a thoroughly enjoyable family break over Easter - duplex rooms are really spacious and cleaned really well , location is pretty quiet in the evenings which is nice - kids disco is good. Free shuttle bus to city centre is great - used twice . Food was fantastic - really tasty for an all inclusive, kids options a bit limited, service on bars and restaurants second to none, all staff are incredibly friendly, they can’t do enough for you. Pool facilities were good and clean , you do have to grab loungers early but that’s pretty standard anywhere that’s busy. Entertainment team were great and really good with all the kids - made our holiday Management team should be so proud of all of the teams as everything was perfect - everyone was on it. Will hopefully be back next year

We had the most wonderful family holiday. The staff are friendly and helpful. They can’t do enough for you. There is something to do for everyone from little kids, to teens to adults. Pitchu was absolutely brilliant with our youngest son. The housekeeping staff keep everywhere spotlessly clean and the food and drink is exceptional. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for making our holiday such a happy one!
