Selman Marrakech

Wow wow wow!!! This hotel is by far the best we have ever stayed in and I think ever will in our lifetime! It blew us away and we have stayed in many beautiful hotels. We stayed in a villa and Ahmed was just delightful. Also want to thank Oscar in the Morroccan restaurent for a super special dinner last night. He made it so fun! The general manager is incredible and I have never been so impressed with the service. The decor of this hotel is mind blowing as is the food ! We will definitely return what a magical place indeed!!!! Thank you for the most amazing stay! The Morris family

The best hotel in Marrakech! You could spend a day just walking around the hotel admiring how beautiful it is. It’s really big with loads of different areas like the gardens where fresh veg is grown, the spa, the stables and many more. The rooms have lovely high ceilings and are kept spotless by the staff. They feel luxurious without losing the authenticity of Marrakech. The Chenot spa was extremely relaxing, with high quality treatments performed by the most amazing therapists! Now the staff… Selman wouldn’t be Selman without the staff! Everyone is extremely kind and helpful. Adel, at the concierge, was a big part of making my trip magical! He helped arrange quality activities and reserved tables at lovely restaurants with good food. Thank you! Lamia and the other host (I forgot her name :( sorry) were really welcoming and thoughtful ladies, thank you too!! Also, to the guy that sang me happy birthday in 3 languages (forgot his name as well), thank you, that was really special!! Safe to say, if you’re thinking on whether or not to book a stay at the Selman.. just book it! You have the luxury of a 5 star hotel without losing personalised attention and genuine warmth from the staff.

I went there with my family, both for the pool and the Marocaine restaurant. (to watch the horse show) It surely was a night to remember. Big shoutout to Boubker, who helped us about everything, literally everything. He was ready to help at all times and with a big&sincere smile of course. He made us feel special. Entire staff was very friendly and professional. I have to mention, such an amazing atmosphere! Watching royal horses train, mevlevi dancer while having dinner with family was great. Food was good but not the best in Marrakech. But the total experience was amazing, thanks to Boubker and the show.

Such a wonderful time in this place, the place witch is so udge is smart decorated, this place have an unusualy tall swiming pool. I recommand the "ftour" for eating witch gave us so many satisfaction that we get back again. The bed and accommodations were very good too. A very positive recommandation to the concierges who give me well-received respond to my enquiries, a last word for the reputated detox massage and the hamam at the spa, i liked so much.

Out of this world! The most decadent hotel with the most incredible staff (our villa butler Youssef was amazing he was there for anything we needed). Recommend a private villa with lovely heated pool and outside lounge area. Honestly worth every penny, and our child was obsessed with the stables on site - they even let her groom the horses. We shall be back!

After proposing to my fiancé in the early morning, we went to The Selman for a very special Signature Breakfast experience! It was entirely private and beautifully setup overlooking the hotel gardens ! The view was breathtaking, the service impeccable, and the food delicious and unlimited! During breakfast we were treated to a private horse show involving 2 beautiful thoroughbreds! This was a once in a lifetime experience and I couldn’t recommend it more!!! Thank you Karim, your service really helped make our day so special

You always worry about the second time you go to a place you have loved in case the experience is not as good as it was in the first place. My second cure at the CHENOT Spa was even better. I took my wife along and she loved it. First we have fabulous health results. Not only looking younger, but with all parameters well improved. Second we are continuing the spirit of the cure and intend to do so in the following months. A particular thanks to Simon, the best Personal trainer I ever had , Ghariba who gives the best Hammam in town, the Amina's for their smile and care, and most of all Salma who wraps you with her care and love. As a local expat was saying, the Best kept secret of Marrakech, this is Le meilleur Spa you will find.

We had a week at the Selman. The staff are wonderful and had prepared a surprise for us as it was our Ruby Wedding celebration. The rooms are very special and excellent housekeeping - the room and all public areas are kept immaculate. The concierge and front of house team were very helpful in booking trips, tour guides and restaurants for us and had some excellent recommendations. The hotel provides drivers (at a charge) to take you up to the city which is about 15 mins away and we travelled up most days to eat, shop and sight see. There's the main restaurant and poolside bar/restaurant but we found the menu quite limited and not to our needs- its also quite expensive, even for a 5* hotel. The only 'downside' to the hotel is the constant music and noise around the complex. Everywhere you go by the pool bar and inside there is music playing - for such a lovely place with so much space, a bit of silence would have been very nice. The pool bar/restaurant has a sneer most nights which for me was way too loud and again a bit of quiet would have been preferred. Again thanks to all the staff for making our holiday very wonderful.

If I could give 6 stars for Selman I would! The hotel is simply the best in all of Marrakech. The staff was excellent, the food fantastic, the hotel the most beautiful, and the Arabian horses amazing! From the moment we arrived I knew we were someplace special. The room was perfect, our patio was divine, and the hotel pool amazing! I highly recommend Selman for anyone looking for a truly luxury experience at an incredible hotel .
