Riad Shambala

The host was absolutely amazing he was so friendly, the breakfast was really good, the tea, The riad was clean, I would highly recommend staying here for a full feel of what life as local in Morocco is like. 10/10

I was at the Riad for 4 days and my experience was incredible. Very good location, very good structure of the hotel, room and common areas and the difference was the service, all the staff were very helpful but especially my friend Rabiaa who made my stay perfect. I recommend it to everyone and you will definitely have the best experience in Marrakesh

The accomodation is not bad and is strategically well positioned being very close to the northwest entrance of the Medina. Needless to hide it, the area is not magnificent, but the Riad is a small oasis where you take refuge after only a few minutes by walk in the chaos you encounter when you get off the taxi. The room (a senior suite) was spacious and had everything needed in terms of comfort. There are some details to improve but this is balanced by the kindness of the staff who in this case tip the balance towards an extremely positive experience rather than an unmemorable one. Rabia, in fact, was so kind and helpful that we almost wanted to take him back to our home. He helped us with excellent advices and with his infinite availability. Such people are the real added value of the accomodation and Marrakesh.

Jan 25-26 I tried to check in at Riad Shambala Marrakech around 8pm They didn’t have a room for me, that I booked and prepaid that day, they try to give me a room with a hole in the bathroom, that was out of service Also the place doesn’t look like the pictures, be careful The Riad told ******* that they won’t give them my refund I just want my money back! Please do me a favor and never stay here

Don't go there! Payed the stay... tried to contact the Riad before arriving several times... but unsuccessful. When arriving.. nobody openend the door, after ringing the doorbell several times. We call them by phone 2-3 times... but no reply. This all while waiting in front of a closed door , dirty road, with some 'smoking' unhealthy looking people laying next to us. Money lost...

Very friendly and accommodating
